autumnvee:  I am So sorry.  ๐Ÿ™  Im my research a lot of the MC statistics include CPs, so I would count it for research reasons, but like lauroo said, it’s all about what you want. You can pretend the whole thing didn’t exist if you want to, or you can keep it with you. I might be tempted to do the first. Much love xox

spoonslicious2:  My first thought was retained tissue, but I’d hope they’d know what they were doing during the D&C! I hope that your levels return to normal soon. After I had my c-section @29w,I bled heavily for 4 weeks and it was lighter/gone by 6 weeks. Everyone is different though. They never tested my HCG postpartum though.

Hi everyone. I am new here and began posting on the October POAS board, but I have been reading this thread and seems like it is a great, supportive place. I had a miscarriage in June and we are TTC again.

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): AF is ending today/tomorrow and this will be our 3rd cycle trying after the MC.

MC History: I had a weird MC in June- I began bleeding at 5 weeks and thought I MC, after many complications and lots of blood- it was determined that somehow a piece of fetal tissue re-implanted in my cervix.

Issues (if any): I have hoshimotos/hypothyroid but that is controlled by meds.

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): I am going to my endocrinoligist in a few days for my thyroid and I am going to ask to get my progesterone levels tested.

Link to chart: N/A

What are your biggest challenges right now? worrying about when I will get pregnant, worrying about MC again, being jealous of pregnant people

autumnvee:  I’m so sorry for your loss. I know everyone has a different opinion regarding CP, but I think a loss is a loss. I’m in a unique place because my first loss (CP) was so quick to follow my positive tests, it almost didn’t feel real. I had a hard time accepting it and talking about it, almost in denial that it even happened. I’m currently going through another miscarriage – I found out on Monday at 5+1 that the pregnancy isn’t viable but have yet to bleed, which I anticipate to happen closer to 6 weeks. This one feels more real, probably because I had more time to process and get excited, etc. However, I still consider myself someone who has had multiple losses. I agree with the others, do what feels best to you. I’m sending you lots of hugs.

spoonslicious2:  I certainly hope that your HCG goes down soon so you can move forward. I know it’s frustrating to wait it out. Hang in there bee.

BeverlyGeese:  I couldn’t find any retailers when I searched since they had an option to pick up in store instead of shipping. The print is beautiful and the gold shines amazing in he light as you can hopefully see at the top of the print in the photo.

HaaaveYouMetTed:  Sorry about AF but it sounds like you were expecting her. Yay for still being able to catch your FW with DH. Hoping this cycle is the one!

@Kabatchy2be: Don’t you have an appointment today? I hope to hear a great update from you soon.

Roll call:

Status (MC cycle/rest cycle/TTC cycle): MC Cycle

MC History: One CP in November 2014, BFP September 2015,  had some spotting at 7w3d and the scan showed a sac, but no baby. I am still only spotting, no cramping so I am waiting to schedule a D&C, which I am absolutely petrified of

Issues (if any): Keeping a baby alive inside me? I don’t have any known issues, and my doctor said they don’t usually test people until 3 miscarriages. I am so frustrated and mad and sad all at the same time.

Action Plan for next TTC cycle (ie Baby Aspirin, progesterone, etc): I guess I have to wait for a period after the D&C and then we will try again. I used OPKs and preseed the past few months and that worked for us. Maybe I will have more answers after my final ultrasound on Monday and then after the D&C

Link to chart:

What are your biggest challenges right now? Not being a miserable, depressed mess. We also shared with many people that we were pregnant, and I now have to share that we no longer are. I just don’t want to spend the next few weeks sobbing every time I see someone.

Coping strategies/favorite inspirational quotes: My husband has been amazing, reminding me that everything happens for a reason. I am really leaning on him to get through this awful time. I thought we had our sticky baby, and it just wasn’t the case this time. ๐Ÿ™

I’m now charting! It’s funny how the smallest amount of progress can make a big difference in your perspective. I feel so empowered by learning about the charting process. I met with the consultant and learned all about it this week. I have stickers and everything lol Yes, it’s a real paper and pen chart so I’m excited to take it to the doctor in a couple of months.
