PhillyBee919:  thank you ladies all so much!!!

Unfortunately I’m not sure if this pregnancy is progressing. My test lines are about the same as my first couple tests from 13 & 14dpo My FRER from this morning at 15dpo is actually lighter than my 2 other FRERs. I’m just not sure what I should do. I’m still taking my progesterone suppositories at night. I’m scared to stop in case something turns around but don’t wanna delay AF if I’m going to MC. I don’t have time to get betas bc I’m leaving for Florida Wednesday morning so won’t be here to get the second draw. Ugh this freaking sucks. Any advice welcome!

lalalalauren:  Hope your lines get darker. Fingers crossed for you. It’s still early to see the progression on a urine test.

MechEBee:  Thanks so much ladies. I talked to a nurse from my practice a few minutes ago and she said just try to relax and we will do betas when I get home from my trip. To keep taking my progesterone and watch for any bleeding. I asked if my progesterone would delay any bleeding I would have if I was losing the pregnancy and she said no. So I’m holding on hope that because I’ve officially missed my period that that is a good sign. So hard when you have a long MC history. I so appreciate the well wishes! You guys are awesome.

BeverlyGeese: Ugh, the waiting really makes everything so much harder. It took a good three weeks until my HCG dropped low enough to get a BFN. The good news was that it doesn’t necessarily mean the whole process will be delayed as I still got AF four and a half weeks after my D&C. That was when I felt like I could start to move on a look to the future. And I get you on the being home alone thing — I’m studying online at the moment so spend most days home alone by myself, and it really didn’t really help with my mental health after my MC or my recent CP.

lalalalauren: Aargh, that’s so frustrating. Can you at least call your GP and ask about the progesterone? And is there any way you can get the second draw done in Florida? I’m so sorry you’re going through this, FX it’s just a dodgy FRER.

@Kabatchy2be: Sorry that you couldn’t do the IUI this cycle but FX that TI will work for you this month.

@autumnvee: I’ve been on Vitamin D supplements since early this year. When I discussed it with my doctor he said I was absolutely right that vitamin D and progesterone deficiency are the main causes of early pregnancy loss with healthy embryos. So I take D-Drops instead of a pill because, well, it’s one less pill I have to take daily and since it’s literally two drops of liquid (flavorless, colorless) a day I can deal with that.

@BeverlyGeese: Sorry to hear that you are still in limbo. Do you have any more doctor appointments to check on what’s going on? I hope you are home treating yourself as well as you can and that DH provides you with as many snuggles as you can handle.

lalalalauren:  Sorry to hear this but I hope everything is okay. Your nurse is correct though that the progesterone will not stop the bleeding if it’s coming, I have experience with this with my CP. Hopefully though this will all be a non-issue and everything continues to go smoothly. Remember @howsweetitis had some wonky tests early on and she’s trucking along. Try to enjoy your trip to FL and I will send prayers up for you and your little bean.

Kabatchy2be:  Thank you! I’ll be there for a week. The betas don’t really do anything to help but give me more insight into my levels. Might be better to wait anyway since my lines are light my HCG is probably super low at the moment anyway.

autumnvee:  Thanks, yeah I’m hoping that I’m one of those people that get darker lines in the evening than with FMU or SMU. We will have to just wait and see. I’m not on straight Vit. D but calcium with Vitamin D and like to think it’s helping!

leahdany:  Thank you so much. Yes I do remember that and that is helping me hold out hope!! I know I’m doing everything I can. Been on the progesterone since 3dpo and taking all the right supplements. Your prayers are very much appreciated!!! Thank you.

lalalalauren:  Thank you for sharing your experiences with me, I am so sorry you all had to experience this. I go for a third ultrasound today and from there we will make the plan. I have been bleeding since Friday, but not heavy and no clotting. I think I will definitely talk to them about the d&C so I can close this chapter. This feels like the longest week of my life.

Hey ladies, just thought I’d share this article I came across about celebrities who have struggled with infertility. I know they are just as human as we are but sometimes when you hear of all the pregnancy announcements you can think it came easy. So here’s a list from last year that includes 12 celebs who struggled with infertility. This list doesn’t mention Tyra Banks or John Legend’s wife but I’ve heard them in interviews in tears about it. Anyhow, it’s nice to read what they’ve said about it since we all have said or felt the same way at some point.

CD13. Finally within spitting distance of FW. CM is very watery today though. I may O earlier than CD19 this cycle, but not getting my hopes up. Guess we’ll just have to cover our bases. I wasn’t going to start using OPKs till CD15, but I might start today just to be sure. Really hoping this is my cycle.

lalalalauren:  Oh lady, I’m sorry to have read all of these updates. I hope your betas come back higher than expected. My heart breaks for you, no one should ever have this happen to them. Sending you lots of love – and safe travels downt to Florida. xoxo

leahdany:  Did you see that John Legend and Chrissy Tiegen announced their pregnancy? I am happy for them, I’m glad they have shared their story and can move on with their journey.

Sorry I’ve been MIA. Trying to take some time away from the boards while I regroup. I had betas done again yesterday, they came back at 157. So falling, but slowly. I also went to my frist infertility awareness meeting last night, it was great. I cried the whole time, and finally felt like telling my story allowed me to accept, grieve and admit that our struggles are real. I know that sounds silly, because we’ve been doing this for a year and a half…but something about being in the space where physically, others are in your shoes and walking the same journey made it feel like I fit into a group of people who understand. I obviously have all of you wonderful ladies of the bee who have supported me through this, but it just seemed to be a different connection that I wasn’t walking alone through the journey in real life. Most of the other women/couples there were dealing with recurrent mc’s or failed IVF cycles from unexplained IF. I was the only one who had MFI, female infertility (DOR) and multiple losses. It was nice to feel support and connection from everyone in the room.

I started bleeding last night, not heavy, not cramping…but finally bright red and flowing. I almost think that being able to ‘let go’ during the meeting helped me to relax and accept the loss. Hoping that my HCG continues to drop and that next week when I go back in they are negative.
