So I have 2 jr. bridesmaid that I need help with as far as outfits are concerned.
My bridesmaids will be in mismatched dress all in watermelon by David’s Bridal. Two will be wearing the same style except the matron will be wearing a shawl and the other won’t. The other two will be different. Since the two that match are wearing the tealength gown with the rhinestone buckle the other two will buy rhinestone buckles to add to the waists of their dresses to make the look cohesive. Well I need help with the jr. bridesmaids….
One of them is turning 7 and the other is 9. At first thought I wanted them in the jr. bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal but I cannot swallow having to pay $100 for a tiny dress GRRRRRRRRRR! The younger one is also too small to fit their “jr. bridesmaid dresses and has to wear a flowergirl dress.
I have also considered maybe getting them white dresses and maybe attached matching bows to them since the flowergirls will be in all white.
I have tried looking on here and on ebay and I am not coming across anything….what should I do? What advice do you have for me?

Honestly I would just look around some department stores for dresses you think that can work, I’m talking about the formal sections of Sears, JC Penny and the like. Considering they don’t have to match exactly to your BMs and Maid/Matron of Honor, you can get away with using white dresses like you suggested or another colour that might be in your scheme.

I wouldn’t put them in white, so that they stand apart from the flower girls. But I wouldn’t go all out on the actual jr. bridesmaid dress if it is out of budget. I found my flowergirl dresses online, and there were a lot of jr bridesmaid dresses on these sites as well:
Also agree that the department stores formal sections have great options. I would just try and coordinate their color to the bridesmaids, but they don’t have to match exactly. Also, if anyone in your family sews maybe consider having them made. I thought I was going to have to do that due to size gap with my flower girls, but then found the above two sites.

If you wanted to go with white dresses, there are a lot of First Communion dresses avilable right now that would suffice. And you can get matching watermelon sashes or accessories from David’s to accent their outfits.
Kids stores and department stores will also work great. My flower girl is wearing a white dress that we picked up at JCPenny for $50.
Since they’re Jr Bridesmaids and you’re already doing mis-matched bridesmaid dresses, you have a lot of options with color. I wouldn’t suggest going with an all hot pink dress from another location because it might look like you’re trying to match the bridesmaids but they may be a shade or two off. A multicolored dress or a dress in one of your other colors would be great!

I would look at stores like TJ Maxx or Marshalls , or for that matter any of the department stores-right now! All of the lovely spring/Easter dresses will be on sale.
I would not suggest trying to match the color of the rest of tthe bridal party. JC Penney has these:
Speechless Floral Smocked Emma
Jenny and Me Girls Floral Cotton
Disorderly Girls 3 Tier Dress
Cinderella Sequin Slirt Dress
Cinderella diamond Pattern Dress
Jenny and Me Pink Floral

@julies1949: I think going with a print is a great idea. They will stand out but you don’t have to worry about trying to match the watermelon color exactly.
