Alfred Angelo makes any of their bridesmaid dresses in Jr. Bridesmaid or Best Man sizes!

My niece is a Jr. Bridesmaid in my wedding.  She is also 11 years old.  The bridesmaid dresses that I picked are Alfred Angelo and they did not hve a corresponding Jr. Bridesmaid dress with them.  But it would not have mattered anyway.  After we measured my niece, we found that she needed to order a women’s size 2 and did not fit in the Jr. dresses.  I did not want my niece to wear the same dress as the older girls.  I ended up finding another alfred angelo dress that was more conservative than the older girls’ dresses but had the same material.  I then had the seamstress add thicker straps to it.

My suggestion is to have your niece measured first.  Bridal sizing is way off.  If she fits into Jr. Bridesmaid sizes, then definitely look at alfred angelo.  If she doesn’t just find a dress in the same material from the same designer as the older girls dresses.

I am having my niece (who will be 11 at the time of the wedding) be a regular bridesmaid. I was a Jr. Bridesmaid at 10 and I was WAAAYY too old for the gig. But all the dresses I am looking at are pretty conservative, so I am not worried about her looking too mature for her age.
