Hey bees, I’m going to be a bridesmaid in May and am wondering if this look is okay.
So here’s the dress. The sash and flowers will be light pink and the dress will be gray and knee length:

And in order from top to bottom I have my bracelet, earrings, clutch, and shoes:

I’m wondering if I should add a headpiece like one of these. I’m going to have a very simple updo so do you think one of these would be too much?

Whoops added the same picture twice. This is the other one:

Pretty, but way too much bling. I would ditch everything but the earrings, clutch and shoes.

There is A LOT going on, and a little too much bling for my tastes. I’d ask the bride for her opinion, honestly.

That’s a lot of accessories for a Bridesmaid or Best Man look. I’d lose some of the bling.

RunnerBride13: agree.
The dress is already two different colors. Earrings, shoes, clutch. Enough.

The bride said I look the least blingy out of everyone. I thought the same thing as most of you and initially got the earrings and bracelet only, but she is requesting sparkly silver shoes as well. When I showed it to her she said I looked plain amongst what the other BMs chose. Uh oh, now I’m confused. It’s why I was thinking of the hairpiece.

I love the dress however I think the shoes and earrings are enough especially because the dress already has two colour on it.

I would ditch everything except the earrings, shoes and clutch. You don’t need more flowers on you, there are enough with the shoulder strap and your bouquet. You don’t need anything more going on around your head. There will be enough with your hair done, makeup, earrings and the shoulder flower strap.

Earrings, shoes, and clutch only. Get rid of the rest. The bracelet doesn’t even match the dress. Neither does the headband.
Remember … less is more!

I love the earrings and hair piece! I’d personally change the bracelet to something more sparkly and ditch the clutch.

LavenderBride24: Thanks! I figure Fiance will be carrying my clutch around when I can’t, but I have a simple pink backup in case I should change the clutch.
