Oh God….Weeks away? ALREADY?

We still have to do the flowers and the cake. Those are our biggest tasks to tackle.

We have the venue, catering, dress, tuxes, Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, reception decor, ceremony decor, officiant, and some other things that are done.

Right now I am creating the ceremony programs, and we’ll be ordering the favors this weekend.

The rest is just last minute pick ups like some beverage tubs for the water, and pop, and a few other odds and ends, but we’re basically done. We just need to finesse the rough edges.

My plan is to be finished by July 1st, so I can relax up until the wedding.

CONGRATS BY THE WAY!

Are you getting nervous/excited yet?!

I just have alot of logistics and details to figure out. And our ceremony isn’t as planned out as I’d like it to be either. Our officiant just had a baby two days ago so I’m trying not to bug him lol. I have to create the ceremony programs, do a hair trial, and book our wedding night place. Those are my only “big” things left 🙂

We just picked up his wedding band today and mine 4 days ago. All I have left is creating reception cards and RSVPs, mailing invites at the end of May, and then creating the seating arrangements. Oh, and I have to create the programs. I’m so ready for the wedding to be over. I’m looking forward to the day, but mostly because I’m so ready to be my fiance’s wife. 59 days!

Only a couple weeks to go and we still have some loose ends that we still have to tie up.  Some things such as programs wont be finished till almost the end of June.

I feel like the big stuff is out of the way….venue, dress, food, DJ, photographer, cake etc. But now it is all the little stuff that is adding up and stressing me out. Finalizing guest list to get invitations out (I feel like we are gonna be over 200 and that freaks me out), seating chart, dress alterations, hair trial, programs, table numbers, escort cards etc

While I can’t wait to marry the love of my life, I can’t wait for this to be over! I just wanna relax when I come home from work instead of always planning and working on wedding stuff.

I am getting excited. 9 weeks away.

I sorted out the pots for the centrepieces (herb planters) last month (they need to grow and fill in the pots).

Going for the Catering tasting on Tuesday (finally). Oh, and picking up the wedding bands, and having our engagement photos. Tuesday will be busy. I’m hoping I can pick up the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and Ties that day too.

We’re heading to my parents place to make the favours this weekend, however, we haven’t settled on how we’re going to present them (It’s homemade salsa, so we’re not sure if we’re just going to do a single ribbon, or wrap them in tulle).

At the end of the month I am going for my first dress fitting, but I don’t have my shoes or undergarments yet (uh oh, this part stresses me out).

I have to write my programs, do my favour tags, make my seating board, my table names, plus a few other decorations.

All the big stuff is done, it’s all the little things, which is annoying. I just want to be ready to go.

I didn’t start planning until January and so far I have picked out my caterer (have a few kinks to work out such a set up times and exactly what is on the menu), booked and paid my venue, picked my bartender (still need to purchase all bar supplies), sent my invites, ordered my bouquets & bouts on etsy, bought my dress & it’s at the tailor, and booked our officiant.

Most importantly we need to go ahead and buy the suits for the wedding party (BM dresses already bought) & I need to buy my bridal accesories & book hair & nail appointments. I also need to figure out exactly what we want said in our ceremony. I’m still trying to figure out exactly how the centerpieces will work out, and I want to DIY some elements, which I need to get on the ball about. Soon I should probably start stocking up on the pop when it’s on sale, & we need to buy all the plates and cutlery for our food (catering only supplies food).I also need to go ahead and order some more decor type items.

I know I have most of the big things figured out, but I still feel a bit like I’m forgetting something, or I’m way behind. Does anybody else feel like this?

ETA: after reading the responses here, dang, it does seem like I’m way behind!
