tigarlily1:  I hear you on the seating chart!  I was upset that my Future Mother-In-Law took it upon herself to create her own seating chart…but it actually helped that we didn’t have to figure out who to sit together from that side of the family!

I’m a bit earlier than you all but I’m a July bride too, and I want to freak out right along with you!!!

We have everything packed and ready to go… I’m leaving on Friday, and then spending allllll of fourth of July weekend doing wedding crafts that wouldn’t have transported well- driftwood sailboats, string balls, making candy favors, etc.  So much to do- and I can’t do any of it until I get to California. WAHHHH!!!!

I have almost everything done! I can’t beleive it myself, but I was able to tie up all my loose ends last weekend. In the next 11 days all I have to do is pack for the honeymoon, wrap the attendants gifts and print the labels for the escort cards.

I did however check the 10 day forcast for the first time today and it says SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS. Cue freakout.

Does anyone feel like the time is racing?   I still have some work to do, but it’s manageable.   I just don’t want it to happy too fast either, I want to enjoy the whole thing.

That reminds me, I have some appointments to set up!

I am on a mission to pay most of our vendors this week and next. Just get it dealt with so there’s nothing to worry about the day of!

Have everything now (finally) to finish programs and favours, so will get those assembled at the cottage this weekend!

We realized today that we forgot to apply for the ABC license and that was supposed to be done 10 days before the wedding… Fiance is going to their office tomorrow, we are hoping they will take pity on us 🙁

GAAA!  Just a week and a day to go!  I actually took a sick day from work yesterday because I had trouble sleeping and woke up with a bad headache… so I took the opportunity to finish some things. (include major shopping for the honeymoon… if you know what I mean!  it was super fun!).  The only other day I’m taking is next Friday.

Here’s what’s left:

  • Finish Programs- just have to tie ribbon on the last 20-30 of them
  • Finish pew decor- making flower pew cones… I’m about 40% done, hope to finish them this weekend
  • Finish the hair flowers I’ve been making all my girls
  • Get flower girl’s hair cut… her mom (a bridesmaid) doesn’t have a car or money to get it cut, so it’s my responsibility now
  • Dye my hair
  • Pay the church and Pastor
  • Pay the balance on the limo
  • Take my cat to my parents house- they will be watching him this week and next while we’re on the honeymoon
  • Burn our slideshow and intro music to cd
  • Write Bridesmaid or Best Man thank-you notes
  • Deliver decor to reception hall and church
  • of course, mani/pedi and rehearsal dinner the day before

Wow, that’s a longer list than I thought.  And here I thought I was doing so well!
