Ok your votes are noted! :). My husband likes the white with the sherbet stripes. He says we van get a pink sheet that matches and cover the rocker in the same shade and have accessories in all the colors. I am with you guys on the last one and purple ones though. :/. He says the wsite will brighten the room. I do like that set but I like others better. I guess it’s my own fault for giving him an option. Lol
The quilts are from pottery barn kids and land of nod and the rugs are from rugusa.com. The rug is only like 70$?? All of their rugs are 50% off!!
@Mrs.JA: i pinned this quilt for if we had a boy!!! Love it!
@BookGirrl: this is the pallet wall! It makes difference on the bedding bc its so dark!!

@katlovesjames: @Mrs.JA: @wifegoodman: @cjfs: @Paper Rose: Thanks ladies! This lay out works much better than the way I had it before. There aren’t a lot of options to move stuff since I such limited wall space…
We went to a baby consignment show yesterday and got some great deals for less than $200!

Graco stroller/car seat combo with 2 bases: $80
2 extra bases for grandparents cars: $15, $18
Swing with music: $25
Bath tub: $7
Changing pad (with cover I’m not using since it’s baby blue): $8
Highchair/shopping cart cover (green) : $10
Sling (black and white): $5
Activity mat: $25
I think the stoller alone with the 2 bases would have been over $200, the only thing I didn’t find was a pack n play. My mom wanted to buy us the pack n play, I was just hoping we could find a good deal for her.

I’m thinking of going with this color scheme. Primary color on the walls would probably be grey if we decide to do this with accents of the other colors because I have this weird obsesion with making sure the room doesn’t look too girly. It took me a while to convince myself to consider using pink as a possible accent color. Seesh.

@nicannette: LOVE the colors!! The blush pink and aqua were our wedding colors 🙂 I love pink and turquoise together. That’s what I would have done if we were having a girl, such sweet colors 🙂

@Mrs.D: They’re SOOOO beautiful together! I can’t decide now what to do with the walls in her room! I was set on grey until I found that last picture!

I also have these that I bought for the dining room of a place I rented a long time ago, but I don’t know if they’d really go with what I have in my head. I feel like I like the colors but my ‘vision’ is more modern than the artwork on these? I don’t knowwww hahah. Also, apologies for the crappy pic, i took it too seconds ago from my phone lol

@katlovesjames: Thank you! I’m very happy and relieved, naming a human being is no joke, man!
@Mrs.D: Wow, that’s a lot of stuff! Please don’t let my crazy make you crazy, but were you able to reliably verify that the car seat and none of the bases have ever been in an accident/aren’t expired? Car seat safety is one of my major obsessions ever since becoming pregnant, I think it is because my husband is a firefighter/paramedic and I hear about crazy car accidents every day. I hope you don’t take offense to my question, just wanna have the back of one of my fellow July Mommas! Love your bargain shopping, I can’t wait till the mom-to-mom sales start up around me! Watch out wallet!
@nicannette: Loooove those colors! So airy and light, perfect for a summer baby!

@MrsDTMajor: I’m glad we’re in the same boat! I really want just soft accents of blush pink if we decide on this color scheme. And I agree! Everything is BRIGHT BRIGHT pink! I don’t mind her wearing pink clothes and what not, don’t get me wrong. But I don’t want her to be in a bubble gum pink nursery. It’s just not us!
@Paper Rose: I know! They’re beatiful and compliment each other so well! I never realized deciding on how to decorate a nursery would be so difficult! Haha.

So creeping TheBump as I sometimes do and saw someone post this:
“There is a $5 off Circo infant bedding item coupon on Target’s website. Plus this week Circo crib sheets (most of them anyway) are $7.99 – regular $9.99. Crib sheet for $2.99 – heck yes! 🙂 I love Target! “
GREAT DEAL! I’m jumping on that! Even if they only have sheets that I would like as back up sheets, $2.99 is hard to beat!!

thanks everyone for reassuring me about the quilt 🙂 It really goes perfectly with the rest of what I am envisioning so I’m glad nobody looked at it and thought girl.
@nicannette: love that color scheme!
@MrsB1015: I totally see your husbands point about the white – I really think you can’t go wrong because all your options were cute! I think that I liked the purple & turquoise because it had a lighter rug to keep everything from being dark, but a light rug in the nursery could also be tricky. You’ll figure it out and again they were all great options!
@Mrs.D: wow, those are some serious bargains! I need to do a better job of bargain hunting, although I’m also not really buying a ton until after the shower, which is hard to wait on!

@nicannette: I’m really drawing a blank when it comes to a theme or a color scheme. I hate all the bedding I’ve seen in stores. I hate the decorations I see. I’m thinking that I just don’t like “typical” nursery stuff and I’m getting all her stuff from the adult sections of stores.
