OK, your list makes me sad. Because I still have to MAKE a list, haha. Suffice to say, my list has many of the same things yours does. I can’t believe there’s only 4 months!

Oh lord I have a lot to do. It’s march break and I’m a teacher so I am hoping to check off at least half of this in the next 9 days :S

– print and assemble invitations (made a mock up yesterday, bought the supplies I need and so far so good!)

– finish beading the next 108″ of my veil and decide if I want to use a blusher or not

– find flats to wear during the reception in case my cowboy boots become sweaty

– meet with the flower person and figure that out, then pay her

– go to Ikea and buy things for the 5 large windows (I’m thinking pillar candles and lanterns), as well as those toldstoy (name?) table number frames everyone uses

– pick up fans for the seats on the day of

– speak with the DJ and figure out processional music, cocktail hour music and reception music

– finish purchasing my E-Pic outfit (It has been out of stock in every store, but I’m trying another today!)

– figure out WHERE to do E-Pics

– book a spa app’t closer to the date (nails!)

– finish making my jewellery (Necklace and bracelet)

– make Bridesmaid or Best Man jewellery (present to them, as well as for the wedding if they wish)

– get on Fiance to pick out a suit AND ask his brothers to be co-Best Men

– figure out what we are doing for the rehersal dinner

– book hair for mom and sis– ask Bridesmaid or Best Man if she wants hair done too

– finalize makeup with girl from work who does it on the side

– create banners for card box, pictures, etc

– collect pictures of Fiance and I, as well as frames, for the gift/late night table

– recruit people to help bake things for late night table

– buy booze for bar

– get permits (have to wait)

– get marriage licence (have to wait)

– ensure my sis’s bachelorette party for me is not rated 18-A

– book hotel for night 1 of our honeymoon

– get my ring appraised and insured

– get dress alterations done, now that I have boots (do it in May)

– create a temporary seating chart and figure out a layout for the venue

– create a program so that guests know what they can do while we are doing pictures

And finally… Keep adding to the list and pulling my hair out! ๐Ÿ˜›

I can’t believe we’re so close! I feel SO ready for the day to be here already! LOL

I had my second dress fitting yeaterday, and go back for my third one on the 24th ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s almost done!

I crossed a TON of things off my list this month, and we start our pre-canna (marriage counseling) next weekend, so that will be done too!

My list that’s left is:

Reception timeline with DJ — won’t do this til June

Finalize programs — which I can’t do until we finalize our ceremony details after pre-canna

Line and stuff the envelopes — which I’m doing next week as soon as they come back from the calligrapher

Menu tasting — scheduled for april 15

Hair trial — scheduled for Wed

Makeup trial — need to schedule this for April

Order the candy for our favors

Buy the sand for my centerpieces, but I’m waiting until it gets closer

Get our marriage license

Do our seating assignments and write out my escort cards

Make all my final payments

That’s it! Everyone told me I was nuts for doing everything so early, but I’m really glad I did because now I get to spend the next couple of months relaxing, and then finish the rest of this stuff the month before ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m with @elizabeth2004, I haven’t even made a list!! I’m still feeling pretty calm about everything though… 4 months seems like an eternity. I hope it goes by quickly– I can’t wait for July to be here already!!

ETA- most of the things I still have to do can’t really be done until May or June, so I’m just going to work on invites March and April, and then I’ll probably have to scramble towards the end to get everything done!

My current focus is booking my cake, flowers, and getting invitations done.  And trying to find a house to buy!  Next will probably be figuring out ceremony musicians (have one violinist, need to figure out the rest of the quartet) and hair/makeup.  Fiance is researching places for the rehearsal dinner.

Holy moly! I don’t have a list but I feel like I have most of the big things out of the way. I still have to figure out the guy’s attire, centerpieces, and finalized my food menu. Just a lot of little things left to do! Time is going to go by quick!

@Pinksapphire:  You are so organized!  I’m truly impressed.  I know I have things to do, I just can’t do any of them until we get our final numbers down.  This is one of the pitfalls to having a Destination Wedding…you can’t buy the gift bags, decor, etc. until you nkow how many people are actually booked and coming.  Sigh.  I have a feeling May is going to be a baaaaadddd month.  Undecided
