I’m kinda freaking out… I’m planning it from far away and I’m having trouble finding a photographer Fiance likes, and some were already booked and he won’t go and meet with them when he will be there next week but he was considering working.  Yea not cool.  (Especially since he said I don’t wanna work on my vacation when I said since its so important that you don’t hate the guy why don’t you go meet them.  He snapped at me with I don’t wanna work on my vaca, but then almost did work for cash during it.)

I don’t fit into my (mom’s) dress or my receoption dress (purchased two years ago and never worn) as of now but I am losing weight to trying to stay positive.  No plans yet on what time ceremony should be held Fiance wants afternoon reception (its outside) I want it closer to night time.  I think MA in July is too sticky to have it in the heat of the afternoon.  He says if we have it closer to night people will leave.  I don’t mind that so much.  I’m thinking 5PM reception he wants 2 PM.  He also wants the cermony in the morning.  I’m not a morning person, I want it closer to afternoon. Blargh. If its closer to night it’ll be easier to keep people cool.  He also has vetoed a tent so afternoon in the hot sun no tent?  Doesn’t make sense.  I’ll keep talking to him I don’t think hes taking logic into account here.  He loves his grandmother very much and I’m wondering if he wants to plan the whole thing to her benefit, he wanted the cake to be one she could eat I get that too but you can’t plan a wedding of 150+ for one person.  We should be taking family into account but really it should be we want and comprimise between us.  I have already told him he can have a groom’s cake that she can eat and the rest of the guests can have something they are more likely to want to eat.  That I would comprimise on the time a little but I think the afternoon is way to hot with out the tent he doesn’t want.  4 or 5PM would be much more appropriate than 2PM  with no tent…  This is this negotiable but I am worried the guests and myself will pass out from the heat (its happened to me before).

He also says we can have a non traditional reception with an Ipod.  I don’t want to deal with an Ipod, I want to hire a DJ so I don’t have to worry about family messing with the Ipod.  I have also never composed a good play list in my life.  I’m okay with the non traditional reception but I still want a head table for us all to sit at.  There will still be food booze and a place for people to sit eat migle and dance, more like a party.  I still wanted to do a bouquet toss and what not but that can be done informally no biggie.

At least we know were it will be and that is free. So yey for that.  And we have a date that’s something.
