I have collected antique blue mason jars that will be filled with various shades of pink dahlias and lemon leaves. I also found little wooden frames with easles at Ikea which I am making into chalkboards for the table #s. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

We are thinking something like this (whipped together in good ‘ole photoshop =] )

However, those won’t be our flowers (we’ll probably re-use the bouquets, nix the coffee beans for coloured glass, and the vases might end up being mason jars, still figuring that out).

Mine are 15″ white Moroccan lanterns with a mirror underneath, surrounded by 5 votive candles and flower petals.  I love love love ’em and haven’t seen anything like them at any of the weddings I’ve attended.  I also love that I can give one to each bridesmaid as a favor, as well as keep (and def use!) one or two for myself. 🙂

Mine are tall cylinder vases filled w/ whole lemons, curly willow, orange snapdragons and white hydrangeas. Then I have shorter versions that will have sliced lemons in them, yellow football mums, white hydrangeas and a few sprigs of curly willow. I’m super excited about them.

@ItsPronounced_ABear: Those lanterns sound beautiful. Please post pics!

@MrsMcGyro: Yeah, I actually just remembered I had a pic on my phone, so I e-mailed it to myself!  My Maid/Matron of Honor and I will be doing a full mock up of the table in another month or so.  But the placemat should give you an idea of how the mirrors will look.  We’re also using dark blue table cloths, since blue’s my main color.

Enjoy!

we’re hosting a friday evening wedding so we are going for a glam, piano bar, cocktails, dinner and dancing type feel.  we’re doing trumpet vases with orchid stem and water, ostrich feathers, and short centerpieces of square vases with rose clusters.  i don’t know why but centerpieces were one of the hardest things for me to make a decision on.

Here’s mine!  The balls are also going to be used during out ceremony and then we are taking them off and putting them on the centrepieces!
