Ours are royal blue and silver. However, I think I’ll have to add a little bit of yellow in there if I decide to go with flower centerpieces. I love sunflowers. If we don’t do a flower centerpiece, we’re going to get those blue, white, and silver things (found at Michael’s) that you put in a jar with water and candles. (No clue as to what they are called.. marbles??)

WOW, I am hoping my colors will be ok for a July 21, 2012 wedding. Our colors will be dark burgundy/red wine and Ivory. I found the most beautiful dark burgundy flowers and simply fell in love with them. It was that or candy apple red.

@Colieee34: It is all about what you like and want, I have decided. Besides I am too old to care what anyone thinks LOL

Coral, Tan, and ivory/cream
BMs have coral dresses, Fiance and GMs wearing Tan suits, with coral ties and pockets squares instead of bouts 😉
Favors packaging, programs, tables linens are all ivory with coral/tan accents in centerpieces. Crossing my fingers that it all looks good!!
And the only theme that I thought would be easiest for me to pull of is a scroll heart graphic I found. So I had a custom stamp made to print on the DIY programs and favors. I figured I could also add it to the seating chart and table names (Each table will be “Love” in different languages).

Excited to see other are doing similar colors. We are actually getting married on the Fourth but didn’t want to be TOO patriotic. So we used our favorite colors: royal (cobalt) blue and lime green with silver accents (our rings are platinum I kind of hate yellow gold on me). Super excited about the combo. Our theme is vintage and family tree.
We’re tying the colors by the bridemaids are all wearing royal blue dresses with lime green pashminas (to cover their shoulders in the church) and silver shoes. The boys will have royal blue vests and THANK GOD we finally found Lime Green ties. My dress is Gatsby by Maggie Soterro (White with pewter accents), so we ended up doing the ring bearer and my fiance with silver vests and ties. Our flower girl is wearing a white dress with a blue sash and blue flower garland in her hair – she is going to carry a pomander with lime green mums to bring the green into her outfit.
Super excited about it, my favorite flowers are gerber daisies, so to keep with it a little young the girls will each get their own monochromatic bouquet of gerbers and roses (one girl will get red, one yellow, one white, etc). My bouquet and my MOH’s will have all the colors in them!

- Wedding: July 2012 - Catholic Church
We’re doing red and black with hints of his clan tartan everywhere. So excited. It may not seem to summery but it’s the combination we liked from the colours in his tartan (navy blue, hunter green, black, red, and a hint of white).

@ScottishMrs: Date twin!
We’re doing peacock colors: deep royal blue, emerald, plum with gold accents. The girls are wearing the royal blue with silver shoes, and the boys are wearing Vera Wang, black label. Our theme is vintage!
