peachcake:  Well…I couldnt wait! I thought about it all day at work and I was just dying to tell someone…

Funny thing too, a few ladies at work are synced up with AF all at the same time, and a colleague wrote on a piece of paper” when is your period coming, i forget…” I felt like my face was so red! ”’Uhh…soon, yeah…” Maybe I’ve thrown off the work cycle!

Anyway, so I got home Thursday night and DH says, so still no…and I said ” I’m pre…enceinte!” ( i couldnt figure out what language to speak…) I guess I’ve watched too many pregnancy reveals on youtube, because I was dissapointed with his reaction. I went to hug him and he held me back and looked at me and said, I’m happy but just wait…I don’t want you to be sad if it doesn’t ‘stick’. We watched some tv and I kept thinking about it, so I jumped up and did another sleuth test..in hiding, the ClearBlue. I thought, he’s got to see it I think. So, when we went to bed I was able to show him the plus sign, and he allowed himself to be more excited then…

He’s pretty level headed in general, and I’m sure he is right, but still…gimme a little more somethin! Ha…so that’s my story.

Now I feel like I need to learn so much, I don’t know how to be pregnant! I’ve got the folic acid and other vitamins, but other than that…don’t know what to do.

Good luck and keep hopeful to those who haven’t got their BFP. xo

FrenchNewlyWed:  Think it takes the men a little longer to adjust as its not happening in their bodies and they don’t have all those amazing hormones running round. But just wait til you take him to the first ultrasound!

My DH didn’t really react at first either but his face completely crumpled when we saw the little flickering heartbeat @7weeks. Even though it was only a blob he completely fell in love with our little bean and from that moment on was totally excited. FX he’s a little more responsive earlier this time!

And maybe those missing AF’s are because pregnancy is catching and there may be more than one of you on maternity leave at work next march!  ๐Ÿ™‚

So happy for you still, and really hope I get to join you over on the pregnancy boards soon! Hope you have a happy and heathly 9months! xx

peachcake:  Thanks a lot for your comments ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a good reminder that it’s not happening in his body…he couldn’t understand why I was so eager to test, but I told him how hard it is to wait when you are feeling things in your body…

I’ll keep you posted! I called him this morning, he works nights and so we can talk early in the morning…and he asked how I was feeling and I told him I felt a bit weird and he said (Ca pousse?) It’s growing? :). I think he’ll come around quickly.

Charting is so confusing!! I’m pretty positive I’m past O because my OPKs got progressively darker then super light. I never had a + but I figure I just missed my surge since it would’ve been during my 6 days straight of 12 hr shifts. But the past 3 days I have had lots of EWCM so that’s throwing off my FF and Ovia apps. I do temp but I’m not good at it. I forget sometimes and sometimes I remember but it’s been like 10-15 min and I’ve been up already. And we haven’t had time to BD every other day like planned. Hopefully one of those times was timed properly and will work!!

fridaythe13bride:  I can be indecisive sometimes. I guess my advice would be to make sure its something you love. I’m not a fan of Roman numerals so my personal opinion would be maybe to go with pretty words. I’m gonna assume that since you have an artist this isn’t your first, but I’ve heard the side can be VERY painful. Mine are all below the knee and they still hurt so I can’t imagine my more sensitive side.

jbbird:  Sorry!

Ugh, I’m 9dpo today and couldn’t resist the POAS. I used a FRER and at 3 minutes it appeared BFN but after 6 minutes I think I see a super squinter. I actually don’t want to try again tomorrow. I want to TRY and wait until Monday (easier said than done) that way if it’s the real deal I’ll hopefully have a clearer line and if it’s not the real deal I won’t have ruined my weekend.

Still no AF but last night I spotted just for a little bit, so hopefully that means AF will show up in the next day or 2. I told my DH and he seemed upset, he still thought there was a chance I could be pregnant. I am still going to take the vitamins, I think they have regulated my cycle, hopefully next cycle will be normal.

FrenchNewlyWed:  Congrats on the BFP!!

A question to everyone: how easily does your cycle get “thrown off” by changes in schedule? I’ve been traveling the past few weeks and it looks like I’m ovulating later than expected (positive OPK today). On that note, I’m going to change my POAS date to 7/24.

AF arrived this week… onto August!

In other news, I had a very relaxing acupuncture session on Thursday. Let’s hope that does the trick for this next round ๐Ÿ˜‰

FX for the rest of you girls.

SadieBee:  I’m going to be a rollover – July is more or less out for us.

<br />A little Too Much Information – I’ve been bleeding/spotting on and off for almost a week. On top of that, I got a minor UTI, so back on antibiotics and no BD until that goes away. It sucks because we were doing great on timing until this all happened.

I’ll probably haunt this board unless the BFPs start to get depressing, but I’ll see all the other rollovers in August for sure!
