rockermeg:  Yes it’s definitely hard not to say anything. I keep wanting to tell my mom to most likely forget the idea of going on a cruise with the whole family next year because I will not want to go a cruise when I’m either super pregnant or with a newborn baby.

rockermeg: This totally happened to my sister-in-law, by my other sister-in-law. (Outed her pregnancy on fb). The good that came out of the situation is that it proved to me that we have to wait to tell them if we get preggers this month. If it does happen, we might break the news mid-August. We always go to visit his mom and sister for their birthdays, and I think a new grandchild/niece or nephew would be an awesome gift. My parents might know earlier, depending on when we would visit, or if my mom comes down here to visit. They would probably think it was weird if I turned down a beer, and keeping it a secret would be all over then.

I feel bad for wanting to tell my family before his. His family is so different and bigger than mine. If something did happen, I’m not sure I feel comfortable breaking the news and dealing with them.  DH doesn’t understand this as much,  but  I think the FB situation made him think about this differently.

I have a feeling that my sister and DH’s good friends will be the first to know though, because we all live together, sort of. We own a duplex, and his friends rent the upper, while my sister is renting a room in the basement. I think it would be harder to keep a straight face around them.

SadieBee:  thanks Sadiebee for being the thread master πŸ™‚

ive been holding off on this, but what the heck. I don’t think this is our month since we were still kinda TTA but we had a sloppy night (actually morning, but maybe tmi?) so may as well get in on the roll call πŸ™‚

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 17. Either 4DPO or 6DPO…this is my first month where I’ve gotten enough temps in to have most of a chart, so I’m still not sure how to pinpoint

Ovulation Date: either 6/20 on CD10 or 6/22 on CD 12…chart could go either way, had some cramping in the evening of 6/22 though after our oops which was kinda middleschmertz-y. Yes, Im using that as an adjective.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: lets say july 6…that sounds good.  cycles were 28 days, but had an ectopic earlier this year with emergency salpingectomy in April to remove righty. Since then, I’ve had a 29 day cycle and a 23…bets are off. Will plan to POAS 14 days after the later potential O day. May end up with a july roll down date too, depending on how the cycles are shaking out.

Cycles Trying: lets call this 1. technically tried and got KU immediately in march on month 1, but it was ectopic and tried to kill me so I’m thinkin I get a do over πŸ˜‰

we were actually not going to start trying until next month, just for my peace of mind because I’m still a bit shell shocked and terrified of another ectopic, so if I roll down one more month until giving it a full court press I’m okay with that too.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.):

prenatals, otherwise not changing my life again until there’s a BFP πŸ™‚ bring on the wine! And am eating as much sushi, runny eggs, and bloody steaks as I can so i don’t feel cheated every month.

Link to Chart, if any: and for fun -I would really like to, but I don’t know how to link to it πŸ™

What do you want to accomplish this month (aside from getting knocked up)?

started c25k a couple weeks ago, so continuing along and would like to be able to run (or in my case, slowly shuffle-plod through molasses) a few miles a few times a week consistently with out wanting to die. Would like to use up my yoga groupon…and we’re moving house this month, so lots of packing.

Thanks Sadie! Hmmm….site home only gives me http://www.fertilityfriend.com. I think it’s because I haven’t paid for the VIP membership? Just on the freebie. πŸ™

Is the VIP worth it you think?

rockermeg:  night has been the worst for me! (hence me being on here πŸ™‚ )

As for when we would tell people – I want to be a strict no one until 12 weeks person (minus a couple of dear friends and parents who I would want support from if I did have a miscarriage). This month would be great timing because I have family coming into town in August!

What the heck, I’ll join instead of just lurking…

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD9

Ovulation Date: CD 16-18

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: July 17-19

Cycles Trying: Technically, this is the second, I think. I got pregnant the first cycle, then had a blighted ovum at 8w, and had one cycle off between the miscarriage and getting AF again.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Have been taking prenatals since February, using the SMEP plan, digital OPKs, and the ClearBlue Fertility Monitor. I’m half-assing an attempt at temping/charting, but it’s not working out so well. Needless to say, I have a bunch of other “tricks” up my sleeve.

Link to Chart, if any:

and for fun –

What do you want to accomplish this month (aside from getting knocked up)?

I started a new job this week and need to get ramped up quickly. My best friend is also coming to visit for a week in July and I want to furnish/decorate the guest bedroom for her since we just moved into our new house. And I want to start working out again as I’ve been majorly slacking and feeling guilty about it!

auggiefrog:  I’m afraid this would happen to me. Because I’ve heard rumors that my Mother-In-Law may have outed a fellow relative. Not sure if its true. But I also feel bad because I want my family to know first. I have a closer relationship to my folks than he does to his. And I trust my family by a million percent not to tell and they aren’t on facebook at all. So I guess if we find out only time will tell what we ultimately decide to do.

crosscountry09:  Right now I’m strict 12 weeks with everyone too. I’m actually most worried about work just because what if I do get sick or something?

SadieBee:  Congrats on AF!!! I was actually supposed to start yesterday (Checked my calendar and had the dates wrong). So I guess I’m officially 1 day late. Ugh I’m still waiting for AF to show up. CONGRATS THOUGH!!!!

Joining in for July – AF just showed up. :/

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD1

Ovulation Date: Predicted for July 11

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Cycle length 25-32 days… POAS July 26?

Cycles Trying: 5, 2nd cycle charting

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Charting, going try to BD EOD until postive OPK, also going to try twice-daily OPKS starting CD10 since I never got a postive last cycle. Already been on prenatals for months.

Link to Chart, if any

What do you want to accomplish this month (aside from getting knocked up)? I’d like to plan an Aug/Sept trip to Texas to visit my best friend, possibly with DH.

SadieBee:  I hear ya, waiting to get started is impossibly hard. I’m at the end of my TWW and it’s taking all of my will-power not to test early every day…. I keep buying cheap tests and getting BFNs πŸ™ But it aint over til the fat lady sings, or in this case, AF returns. FX!

Frohike:  Did you click on “Get Code” under Site Home? That’s where the personalized URL is. Mine didn’t have my username in it, but you can create your own there, too.

I just signed up for VIP today because my free trial was about to expire. I think it’s worth it. If you like their FB page, you can unlock a discount right now, too, which is great.

Hi Ladies, just taking some time to catch up on all the posts.

My updates are – well who knows with acupuncture and the herbs, but I had the best EWCM I have ever had! we managed to BD -2 -1 +1. So fingers crossed. Into the 2WW!

My preseed has gone missing! Can’t find it anywhere! So we ended up just using KY, hope that doesn’t hurt matters.
