I like them too.  I think they mainly feel overdone to people who are in the throes of wedding planning  🙂

My family owns a pro photo lab so I’ve seen hundreds of them.  We’ve had some REALLY good laughs at the outtakes of the jumping photos.

I am not a fan.  This white girl don’t jump, especially wearing 30lbs of satin with no straps.

I have yet to see one jumping photo where someone doesn’t look ridiculous. I myself have been subjected to doing jumping photos and they aren’t pretty. They were a definite no-no with my photographer.

Not married yet but I want them. Silly as they might seem, I think they’re cute and fun and I definitely want to get them.

@BigFatGreekWedding:  See those are cute. With one or two people jumping I don’t mind. Its when you are trying to get 10 people to jump, look and not fall all at once that it gets a bit iffy.

@almostmrsj:  I agree. I hate jumping photos too. I’m going to have to tell my photographer absolutely no jumping photos whatsoever

We did one and no one in the party could really jump at the same time.  Our photographer was just yelling out orders and we were doing them rapid fire… BUT my face is classic in it, and it’s like the most excited anyone has ever caught me on film in my life.  So i think it was cute.

I’ve have tons of them, but I don’t put client photos on here so you’re welcome to PM me.

They aren’t for everyone, we didn’t do them at my own wedding. I have some clients request them, while others definitely don’t like them. To each their own.

The most difficult thing for me is when a bride says “we want to do something fun”…..and then no matter what I suggest the bridal party turns their nose up at it. Some people’s friends are just NOT the silly type. My girls would have done anything, DH’s guys probably not so much. To guys, everything is “lame”.
