There’s no rule that says you have to do just one.  I don’t see a problem if you do both.  I would just do one in the beginning symbolizing the joining of familes – maybe the parents can light the candle and you and Fiance jump the broom at the end of the ceremony symbolizing the beginning of your lives together.

I’ve definitely seen both done. They each symbolize different things. And the jumping of the broom is so quick that it won’t take up time.
