Photographer Booked

We’re planning on not having a DJ- just renting equiptment, but haven’t really looked into it yet.

Reception Venue Booked, which is the same place as the ceremony

Dress bought- I picked it out from a bridal shop, and then found a sample  on Ebay for half price

Bridesmaid dress colors picked, but they’re picking their own dresses out

Wedding Party- bridal party selected, best man selected

Cake design choosen

Invitation desginer Picked Out- my cousin who’s a graphic designer, she’s started working on the desgin, and we’ll get them printed on some nice paper at kinkos or something

STD will be e-mailed and linked to our to-be-designed wedding page

Groom/Groomsmen attire talked about… suits not tuxes

Have too many ideas for decorations!

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Needs to be Done

Guest list finalized

Menu and drinks finalized

Decorations finalized (I have an idea but we’re doing a lot of DIY so we need to make everything)

Flowers deignsed and either whole sale found or a florist

Other millions of things!

Wow, you guys are way ahead of me! I”m really glad to hear your centerpieces, etc. are picked out b/c I thought I was talking to my florist/decor company way too early!

Ahhh, I feel like I’m so far behind!

-Booked reception hall, which includes food, alcohol, etc.

-Booked ceremony site

-Officiant is up in air because we’re waiting to possibly be approved by the diocese (outdoor catholic wedding)

-Limos booked, but we’re looking into a trolley for the end of the reception

-Wedding party chosen, dress color chosen, and the girls will be picking their dresses over the next couple of months

-Theme/color/design in mind

-Meeting with photographers and DJs next time we go upstate, which should be within the next few weeks

-I’ve had my dress for months

-We got our wedding rings last week!

So it appears I’m doing things slightly out of order, but hoping everything comes together.

So many date twins! Obviously June 12 is an excellent day to get married.  I have def. hit a lull after the initial “I’m engaged and need to plan” feelings!  Combined with finishing my masters and moving to oklahoma in the next three weeks, I am a very busy bride to be! But here is whats done so far:

-Booked church and met with my Priest

-Photographer booked and engagment shoot done

-Signed contract for our reception venue

-Bought my dress

-Asked bridesmaids and best man (still waiting on Fiance for the groomsmen decision)

-Bought bridesmaid dresses

-Decided on Hawaii for our honeymoon (still need to pick an island)

-Started collecting our plates and mason jars for reception

-Decided to do a desserts and drinks afternoon reception so no caterer needed

-FI started a wedding webiste without me even asking!

I think thats it for now. So much done and so much left to do! I love hearing how everyone is doing!

I’m part of the June 12th club!

So far, we’ve:

-booked ceremony/reception site (same place).

-booked band

-booked our (awesome) photographers

-bought my dress (not wearing anything traditional; I bought my dress from J Crew for $99)

-booked catering

-unofficially asked the wedding party

-picked colors (robin’s egg blue/tomato orange-red)

I’m planning my wedding long-distance, so I had to take care of a bunch of stuff in a short amount of time!

This is exciting!
