@Speonies: yep, I am using mywedding.com to host our website.  It’s very easy to use, although now that I am in it a little deeper, I wish they had more features! (although they do have a lot!). I’ve heard ewedding is good as well.

I’m sepnding lot of time updating our website over the next couple weeks with detailed directions, maps, and local sites to see/places to eat.  When people start looking at the website(after they get our invitations) I want there to be plenty to browse on the website!

Here’s the big question…with the 100 day countdown so close, what are you guys doing for fitness?  We don’t have much time left!  I’m going on a serious health-diet starting this week…eating better food, smaller portions, and more often.  I’m having a hard time doing any sort of fitness right now…but I’ll get there!

Another June 20 Bride here! We are having a ‘destination wedding’ in OBX, NC.  Because of this we have been planning since Nov 2007, so everything is basically done now. All of the vendors are contracted, invites are addressed and ready to go out, the only things we have left are gifts for the fathers, getting the groom to decide on what he is wearing, and completing all of the little DIY projects I keep coming up with to keep me busy. We are DIYing a LOT:

Flowers (everything)
Out of Town Bags
Bathroom Baskets
Escort Cards, Table Identifiers (Different Lighthouses)
Programs
Candy Buffet
Favors (homemade chocolate seashells and personalized m&m’s in boxes)
Menu Cards
Most of the decor
Half of the invitation stuffers
Bar Menus
Family Wedding Portrait Collage for the Reception

I can’t believe that in just a few days we’ll be in double digits!!! I’m actually planning on mailing my invites in the end of March, partly because I put postcard stamps on all of my RSVP’s and sealed them up, and then found out that postcard postage will go up mid May, so I want to give my guests an extra week or two to get them back to me before it goes up. Bah, stupid USPS.

@ Latte Love: It is hard because June feels like SO far away to think, how on earth can I get into a fitness routine (esp when its so cold out!) What I decided to do to give myself a closer "goal" to work for – a few months ago, I signed myself up for my first 10k. The 10k is part of the Cleveland Marathon here on May 17th. I figured I would train REALLY hard for that, and that should keep me in shape before my wedding on June 6th.

I find its easier to have intermitten goals (bachelorette party – VEGAS! in 3 weeks, 10k in 2 months) than to reach for something that is over 3 months away. This is a great website to see what races/events might be coming up in your area:

I am a June 27th bride and I feel like I am completely stagnent! I have all of the vendors booked, but I have not started on any of my DIY projects (except my invitations)! Do any of you have a pacing plan so that you are not stuck doing everything last minute? Right now I am trying to push myself to drop another 8 pounds before the big day, so I am becoming a regular at the gym. I feel like the wedding is so close yet so far away! Am I supposed to be busy with wedding stuff? I feel like I am a slacker because I am not busy right now.

My RSVPs arent due back until June 1st (mailing out invitations this weekend), so I had to get .27 stamps and .1 stamps for the RSVP’s since the postage goes up to .28 for postcards.  Thankfully I remembered or alot of my RSVP’s wouldnt be delivered!

I’m June 20, 2009 also!!! I have almost everything done though. But honestly, I’d have to go get my dorky to-do list to tell you all it here!!! Literally, it’s a smidgen of items. Nothing big though. I’m such the anti-procrastinator

I have a question for you June 20 brides. Have you all sent your invites yet? I got a STD forever ago for a June 19 wedding but haven’t gotten the invite yet. It’s a friend of mine that I haven’t talked to in at LEAST a year, if not more, and we were going to invite him to our wedding but I have taken him off the guest list b/c we have not talked in so long.. and now I’m wondering if he did the same, even though we got a STD? It would make it easier if he did, even though that is such bad etiquette (I didn’t send Save-The-Date Cards so I’m in the clear with whatever decision I make). But I want to know ASAP if he decided not to invite us after all so I can be even more confident in my decision not to invite him. So, do you guys think they’d have sent invites yet?? THanks!!!

@monalisa670- Well Invites SHOULD be sent out 2 months before but they may have not sent them out yet.  I would give it 2 weeks since we just hit the 2 month mark!

@monalisa670 – I am sending my invitations out this weekend, so its just about 8 weeks before the wedding.  I sent my STD back in July last year.  They should still invite you since they sent a STD but maybe things changed with their budget or they just havent mailed them out yet.  Is there a way you could call to "chat" and casually bring up the wedding and ask how things are going?

Thanks ladies! I just talked to another friend who is IN their wedding, and he said he hasn’t gotten an invite yet.. but he also said he didn’t get a STD, either! Haha. THey might have just figured they didn’t need to send him one since he’s in it. Either way I guess they haven’t sent the invites yet- so we’ll see in a couple of weeks! Good luck getting all of yours out, if you haven’t already! So exciting!

wow, is anyone else feraking out that there are TWO weeks left?!

I feel like I’m doing pretty well with the planning, but still freaking out because I can’t believe it’s so close!

I still have to do escort cards, programs, menus and signs.  I just ordered all my flowers for DIY, and I have all the decor and everything set.  My final fitting is on Saturday.  My bachelorette party is Saturday as well!

Where are you at June 19/20 brides?  Getting so excited, or totally stressed?

Yes, freaking out!!!

will the rings be done?

will I get all my packing done, and done properly?

honeymoon wear (mind you I diving for a week which is not glamorous and so I am more thinking about the girlie cloths aka lingerie) or whether I will feel beautiful on my wedding day.

So nervous.
