No RSVPs in the mail on Thursday or Friday

I’m doing mail and email RSVPs.  So far only a handful by email (none recently).

I forget the exact date mailed and they were a bit spread out, but received the tester RSVP (a BM) April 9.

RSVP Date: May 18

# of guests: 260

RSVP Yes: 104

RSVP No: 38

At least I don’t need exact numbers soon, but I do need approximate numbers by the 25th because we will probably release some of our space.

An update

Date mailed: April 11

RSVP date: May 20

# of invitations: 69

# of guests: 160

RSVP Yes (number of guests): 85

RSVP No (number of guests): 21

We are estimating the final number to be around 120.. which puts us back on budget.. but makes me sad because of the no’s that I wanted there 🙁

I thought I would get a bunch of RSVPs today since I had so few last week (none Thursday and Friday, no emails all weekend).  I only received 2 in the mail today and no emails!

My RSVP date is wednesday (post #76).  Hopefully I will get a ton of emails that day or something.  I’m so glad that this isn’t for final numbers for the dinner!

Hi Everyone,

Just an update – My final date was May 11th and at that point I still had about 30 people who had not RSVP’d.  I released my fmil on the guest list since it was mostly her guests that hadn’t responded and fiance had to do some sleuthing but here we are almost a week laer and we have them all.

147 confirmed and 13 no’s – UGH and ffil wants to now add more people!!!  grrrrr  but even still with the three more that he wants to add that’s only 150 which is still 10 less than we had originally planned for.

I should be happy that we got so many yes RSVP’s but dep down I was secretly hoping for some more no’s.  Oh well the more the merrier!

Anyone else wishing they had more no’s??

@Ramble10: I needed more yes’ but in all fairness those who have said no, are of no massive loss

I have no idea how many invites I sent but we have about 120 expected guests

Wedding Day: June 26th

Invites Mailed: May 1st

Deadline: June 1st

57 yesses

1 (unofficial) no- unofficial meaning I know she’s moving to Las Vegas about a week before the wedding but she hasn’t responded yet, I also have a lot more unofficial no’s but I knew that before ever sending invites!

Well, we tracked down all but one response (2 guests), just a little over a week after our RSVP date.  Here’s what we’re looking at now:

Date Mailed: April 1

RSVP Date: May 9

# of Invitations: 167

# of Guests Invited: 342

RSVP Yes (# of Guests): 254

RSVP No (# of Guests): 86

We’re pretty sure that last response will be a no, so it looks like our final count will most likely be 254.  Who knows how many of those will end up no shows… hopefully not too many, but it’s bound to happen.

So our RSVP deadline was today – we are gonna have a lot of people to track down…34 to be exact. We had way more No’s than we anticipated, probably because it’s a semi-destination wedding.

Date mailed: April 7

RSVP date: May 18

# of invitations: 74

# of guests: 169

RSVP Yes (number of guests): 90

RSVP No (number of guests): 45

I just realized I assumed for a few people as well, so the 83 should be a little higher (maybe 88).

I ended up inviting a few more people since the last time I posted.

RSVP Date: May 22

# of guests: 95

RSVP Yes: 68

RSVP No: 14

Waiting: 13

I also assumed for a few people, like bridesmaids and groomsmen who I know are coming but couldn’t be bothered to mail back a card I addressed and stamped for them and sent them a month ago ><
