@ellebeerob:  I’m the same with the salads!  Really loving that pasteurized feta!  And I’m sorry to hear you’ll probably miss your sister’s wedding, but of course everyone will understand.  Good luck with tht independent airline though.  That would be awesome if it worked out!

I just realized, the doctor said that if I didn’t hear anything by the end of the week it means I passed my glucose test.  I’m pretty sure he said they would have the results yesterday or today so I’m hoping I passed.  Fingers crossed I don’t hear anything tomorrow!

Sitting here at work, my legs are feeling achy and I realize.. my belly is sitting on my thighs! Can’t be good for circulation, lol. Ugh, ladies, how am I going to last till June? I already feel overwhelmingly heavy/big! My mid back around where my scoliosis curve is hurts pretty often now, too! Sometimes I wish I could remove my belly for a bit to get a break. XD

@MrsSawyer:  Ahaha that list is great! I remember when I was little I was SUPER picky about how my socks and sneakers were on, it would take me like 20 minutes to get my shoes on because I kept tieing and re-tieing them to make them EXACTLY the same tightness on my feet, haha. I hope my daughter is a little more easy-going. ;P “The inside of his nose stinks” made me lol.

@dreamocracy:  My DH especially loved “the cat won’t let him touch his eyeball” hahaha.

On the “taking off the belly for a break” note, I hear ya. I wish I could take it off and get a good nights sleep instead of flopping around like a beached whale when I try to turn over. We don’t have much longer to tough it out though and then we’ll have our little babies!

@MrsSawyer:  Depending on the day/hour/minute (haha) sometimes it seems like we have no time at all and others it seems like it will be FOREVER till we have our babies!

How far along:    28 weeks today

Total weight gain/loss:  about 25 pounds gained I think. I don’t weigh my self much.

Stretch marks:   not yet except a few small ones under my boob

Maternity clothes: oh I’ve got quite a collection! I’m a thrift store addict so I’ve found all sorts of awesome stuff, including some adorable full panel skinny jeans that I pretty much live in. Now I’m getting to the point where most of my long shirts aren’t cutting it and I’m getting into my maternity shirt collection. I’m excited for it to be warm enough to wear my maternity shorts and capris!

Sleep: no complaints.

Food cravings or aversions: How about just “I crave allthefood.”

Gender: girl!

Movement: I felt tons of strong kicks all the time until a couple of weeks ago or so, now they feel different, more like shifts and wiggles. I think baby is running out of space!

Belly button in/out:  it’s been stuck halfway out for a while now.

Diet:  um.. a lot of food all the time? haha.

What I’m loving:  My husband still thinks I’m sexy! Perhaps even especially sexy. Despite my giant belly and fatter thighs / hips / butt / face. I think it’s the whole ‘healthy and fertile’ vibe.

What I’m not loving:  how hard it is to maneuvre myself from standing to sitting and vice versa, how I’m running out of room to breathe and sometimes my ribs hurt.

What I miss: being able to see my toes. Walking up and down stairs is suddenly kinda scary!

Favourite moment this week: when my Mother-In-Law emailed me and said she got ‘everything on our list’ of the baby furniture and other things that we don’t have yet. Um, whaaa?! Those were just suggestions because you wanted some ideas of hand-me-downs to keep an eye out for, was not expecting this, holy crap! But thanks!

What number thread do you think we will be on come June 1st?!: hmm… 13?

@ellebeerob:  That’s exciting that you got to see your baby again! I had an ultrasound at 27 weeks, and it was a huge difference from the one at 19 weeks. It’s crazy how developed the baby is.

@MrsSawyer:  That list is hilarious!

Does anyone else dislike telling people your due date? I have people ask me all the time, mostly family members, what day my baby is due. I just say, “the middle of June.” Then they ask for the specific date. I read that only 5% of babies are born on their due date, so I don’t want people to get too hung up on the date. I even have a grandparent who wants to know my exact date so he can be in town when the baby is born, but then leave on vacation a couple days later. I can’t predict within a couple days when the baby will arrive. The due date is just an estimate!

@Bichon Frise:  I’m due June 18 but I’ve been telling people end of June. I find most people aren’t asking for a specific date…hopefully people wont harass me since most don’t know the ‘date’

@anotherbee:  That’s a good idea. I heard that a lot of first time moms go a week over their due date. It’s really impossible to know what will happen.

Well gals, looks like I spoke to soon on the roll call.  The stretch marks have made their entrance.  Happy 28 weeks to me!  They are light and only a few on my right side, but they are starting… woof.

Sorry for not commenting. My world is spinning right now. Got a call at 8:30 that I passed anemia test (yay!) but failed miserably my glucose test. The nurse who called wasn’t nice at all. And had almost no info for me. This threw me into a tailspin. I knew nothing about it, what it meant for the baby, pregnancy or myself. Nothing. Still really don’t know much, and I wont for a week. They said the specialist will be calling me by tue. The specialist called 1 hour later. (Umm hello emergency case here or what?!). Gave me a date and time to report for an hour long into meeting next week. Wouldn’t budge on the date at all. Another hour long appointment the next week and 2 weeks after that. This all falls opposite my appointments with my dr. So I will be seeing a dr every week in April, with one week 2 dr’s. Plus my dr might up my appointments from every 2 weeks to weekly.

Im not sure where we go from here. Ill hopefully know more on the 4th. I’ve been a randomly crying mess, so I might be quiet on the boards for awhile.

@MrsDW:  I’m so sorry to hear your news. But I’m confused- my doctor said that if I failed this test that it didn’t mean that I even had gestational diabetes it just meant that I had to take the three hour test to be sure, and if I failed that, they’d take it from there.  Are they just being super cautious?

@bwaychick:  I ridiculously failed the test. There was a zone for “failing but taking the 3 hour test to be sure” and I was way out of that zone too. It’s scary because I thought if you fail it’s the 3 hour test and dr will discuss with you. I’m jumping right past that to specialists and insulin talk. :-/ and thanks!

@dreamocracy:  thanks! Dr isn’t really being stubborn it was just complete lack of communication on their part to me. And how they told me that sucked.

i have a serious migraine at work. Left my medicine at home. Seriously wanting a coke to get rid of it… Ugh! 🙁
