OMG I can’t believe we are 6 months away!! I have a big to do list for January! I just addressed my Save-The-Date Cards and am sending them out this week. In January my goals are to:
-Do cake tasting with cake company (we have co. just have to pick style and type of cake)
-Register (we’re pretty sure we’re doing it at Macy’s and PB)
-Make sure BMs have ordered all dresses
-Pick out Bridesmaid or Best Man shoes AND my shoes
-Pick a hair stylist! I have a couple trials set up, hope I find one I like! and a style, not sure if I am using veil, hope to figure all that out!
-My dress should be in next month, so I want to do my first fitting!
-Put deposit down for honeymoon (we know where we are going)
UGH sounds like a lot! I am kind of stressing that we are 6 months away…for no other reason than I am scared if I fall behind on my goal list it might make things hectic down the road…
How are you guys doing?!

Things we have to do:
– book the caterer
– find, meet, and book a photographer
– find a DJ and book them
– complete the DIY guest book
– order remaining bridesmaids dressses
– find out when I/MOH/bridesmaids need to do fittings
– pick a hotel for out of town guests and get a block of rooms
– make thank you cards
– get all guest addresses
If I can get all of that done in January, that will be amazing…

I think we’re moving along quite nicely,
This month we have accomplished, Fiance applied for his passport, we finished our cake toppers, we have all of our invites assembled but still need to print. We also have the programs designed and assembled but we need to print. We ordered all the men’s gift ties with matching pocket squares. I stamped all the candy bags and created water bottle labels. I also semi-finalized the guest list on the wedsite.
To do:
*Order mom and VIP brooches
*Finalize guest list and send to Calligrapher
*Sew table runners
*Order bridesmaids robes (I already emailed our order and am waiting on the quote).
*Order bridesmaid dresses (We have 5 of 6 gals payments and measurements! Yay!)
*Fi is getting a trailor hitch attached to his SUV
*We are going to the dentist to get our teeth healthy and clean for the wedding 🙂
*Get the rest of the gifts engraved (jr. groomsmen, bridesmaids, FI’s gift, and our cake cutting knives.

Eeek! I just got engaged and we are getting married in June 2013 – I only wish I was as far along as the rest of you. I’ll be working overtime to catch up to where I need to be. Wish me luck! At least we know where the reception and ceremony will be. I’m working now on our Save-The-Date Cards and wedding website. Next weekend I’m going dress shopping and crossing my fingers that I find one I like!
