Well, I’m back on the boards. We just suffered an 8 weeks miscarriage, baby stopped growing around 5-6 weeks and it took an extra 2 weeks to pass everything. This was our 4th miscarriage. We know there’s a 1 month advisable waiting period after a miscarriage but after speaking with our team, there were no physical reasoning to do so, so we’re going to be ntnp this month, and actively TTC next month.

Hi Everyone, I’m joining in the TTC boards again after a break trying to get my thyroid med dosage right. We were planning on starting trying last decmeber but my thyroid levels were too high. I finally had a blood test showing normal levels so can start TTC!

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 32/42

Baby #:

Current cycle day/DPO: CD 5 counting miscarriage as first day

Ovulation date: TBD

POAS date:  Mid June depending on ovulation- maybe the 17th ish?

Usual cycle length: 28-30 days

Cycles trying: 2

BFP plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements etc.): EOD starting CD 12 and then BD everyday once I get a peak ovulation strip, prenatals, and OPKs. It will be a little tricky as I’m not sure how long it will take to ovulate following this week’s loss.

Trying anything new this month? No, just trying to stay hopeful and positive despite fears surrounding future loss. I have started a search for a therapist to help with this because I was already struggling with anxious feelings before this week’s miscarriage due to a chemical pregnancy and then early miscarriage before I became pregnant with our daughter three years ago.

For fun: What is your favorite summertime meal? I love corn on the cob with lots of butter and salt! Some seafood to go along with it? Beautiful.

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 29/26

Baby #: 3 for me, 1 for him

Current cycle day/DPO: 1dpo or O today, i had a peak OPK yesterday but todays is still strong, and I’ve had a lot of ovulation pain on my left side today.

Ovulation date: 5-23/24

POAS date: June 4th

Usual cycle length: 28 days

Cycles trying: this is 9 or 10, i cant believe were so far in ive forgotten which cycle this is! We did take a few months “off” but we still hit all my fertile days so im counting them. I just wasnt charting, posting here, or using OPK’s.

BFP plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements etc.): just using OPK’s and timing BD based on that, taking it easy is much less stressful for me. I cut out all the supplements i was spending a stupid amount of money on every month besides a regular multi vitamin, and i found that for me charting was really just a lot of unecessary stress.

Trying anything new this month? not really, just trying to be more relaxed about the whole thing.

For fun: What is your favorite summertime meal? ohh anything on the grill! but if i had to choose it would be marinated chicken kabobs with white rice, tzatziki sauce, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta and chopped lettuce. I copied the recipe from a greek place i worked at years ago and its my familys favorite too!

Crossing my fingers for you too! hopefully we both get our BFP in a few weeks!

@hoosiergirl2905:  We had a loss at 17 weeks in February and are TTC again as well. This is our second cycle. I’m really sorry that you went through a similar experience. It’s absolutely heartwrenching. I’m really hoping this cycle brings us both our rainbow babies and some renewed hope and happiness. Feel free to reach out privately via pm if you want to talk. TTC after late loss is a whole other ballpark.

@bizzybee0620:  My heart goes out to you too. It truly is hell to go through and I would not wish it on anyone. I’m so sorry you had to go through this too but it is nice to see someone else on this board coming from a similar background. I really hope we both can get some much needed good news this month too. The same goes to you as please feel free to PM me about anything. I know support groups and grief counseling have been a big help to my husband and I the past couple of months.
