AHHHHHH!!! When I stalked checked our registry for accuracy this morning, I saw that lovely little number 9! I know we’ve had a few of these posts started recently, but can you believe it’s practically here? It felt like it was FOREVER away when we chose our date!
Things left to do: A few DIY projects (cut out and assemble program fans, make table numbers, menus, and seating cards), bachelorette party, pick up my dress and pray that it fits, meeting with the reception coordinator, chat with the DJ and videographer, wrap some presents, and smile!
Any worries?: Just the aforementioned dress not fitting. I need to wear my heels around the house a little more, to break them in. And, of course, forgetting something. That would be fun.

I know I cant believe it. Seemed like so far ago we picked this date and it is approaching so quickly.
Things left to do: Break in my shoes, start putting things aside to pack for the hotel, get a little more candy for the candy bar, do my final fitting today (shoes, veil, jewelry), decide on a shade of lip stick, get ready for my bachlorette tmrw , and finalize a couple gifts..
Any worries?: The weather because currently it is calling for a chance of rain

I cannot beleive we are so close. I am waiting for some majior disaster. I am also worried about the weather since we will be taking all our photos outside.

Things left to do: PACK! Leave emergency info. Exchange currency. Update IPOD with songs.
Any worries: weather,… and don’t get sick. Also I don’t want Fiance to sunburn LOL

Omg. This just gave me an instant headache lol.
I still have to finish my seating chart and escort cards. I have to do laundry, pack, clean my entire house as well as pick my wedding dress and have my hair trial. Tomorrow is my last day of work thank goodness!

I’m 6/22 and had a total meltdown day today. I feel like there is so much left to do and not enough hours in the day to get it done. Not to mention i had my hair colored last night and it looks horrible so now i have to go back and get it fixed….like i needed anything else to worry about!

ahhhh it’s so close. Seems like we have been planning for so long and here we are! 🙂
Things to do: Call vendors to finalize details (ceremony music, florist, DJ) – today at lunch hopefully
Have final meeting with vendors (end of next week)
Finalize my chair situation (today at lunch)
Finalize Music (this weekend)
Finish Parents/Bridesmaids gifts (next week)
Get nails done
Worries: Weather (yesterday it was supposed to rain, but this AM the rain is gone!!) – looks like 80 with chance of rain at 10%.
I still don’t have a lipstick color (I don’t regularly wear lipstick)
How much people are gonna drink (and what I will have to pay in my bar bill!)
Ahhhhh so excited!

Ahhh yes!!! That was my reaction when I realized and immediately text Fi “aaahhhh we’re in single digit countdown!!!”

I’m taking it one day at a time.
ONE. DAY. AT. A. TIME.
Or else I’ll lose it.
Today: I’m picking up my dress from final alterations (please God let it be okay), finishing Out of Town bags, cleaning house, starting centerpieces, and figuring out activities for my family who are coming into town either Monday or Tuesday. Probably should confirm which one? Also probably having at least one glass of wine.

A good friend of mine shares your date!!! I cant wait for her big day. I hope you all enjoy yours!!

Final fitting went great yesterday! Pick up next Friday is set. Today I’m putting together Out of Town inserts, bathroom baskets, and frames for the reception and dropping off the marriage license at the church.
I’m taking the evening off planning and going to a Dave Matthews Concert tomorrow night and then celebrating Father’s day with FIs family Sunday.
Next week I’ll need to:
get my nails and waxing done
put the finishing touches on bridesmaids’ gifts
shop a bit for the honeymoon
write letters to my parents
finish FIs simple gift
get some sun
workout for my sanity
get my jewelery cleaned
buy some false lashes and new makeup
practice dancing and smooching with Fiance (that’s the fun part!)
organize reception decor and drop it off
It seems like a lot, but i can totally do this!

@HappilyEverAfter54: We have the seating chart finished. We’re working on the escort cards, menus, table numbers, and programs today and tomorrow. I’m starting to stress that they won’t get finished! I also don’t have any excuse…I’ve been off since May 23rd (although, to be fair, I did spend time moving Fiance back home, and once he got back home, we’ve been doing wedding/planning for future stuff every day).
@ProfessorGirl: Good mantra! I’m picking up my dress on Tuesday…after my bachelorette party…I’m hoping this won’t loom over my head too much! She had to make some extra alterations when I went for my second fitting. I did feel bloated that day, so I’m hoping it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. It does scare the bejeezus out of me, though.
@Mars62312: I’m glad to hear your final fitting went well! That is something big off your mind! 🙂 Your list sounds very do-able…I like the part about practicing dancing and kissing with your Fiance. Maybe we need to add that to our list :-).
Yesterday…we didn’t really get anything accomplished. We did look at an exact copy of what our apartment will be like. We planned to take yesterday as a day off from planning, which was nice to have! Today, however, is back to full force.
- Finish up all of our DIY projects (print menus and escort cards, assemble programs, fill Out of Town boxes, and make the table numbers)
- Make a packing list for our honeymoon and for the hotel.
- Finish shopping for Father’s Day.
Next week’s plans are as follows:
- Pack, pack, pack! Both for the honeymoon, the wedding itself, and my place–we’re moving when we get back.
- Confirm details with the DJ and videographer.
- Meeting with the reception vendor.
- Make up trial
- Family dinner with those who are coming in from out of town.
- Finish assembling bridesmaid gifts and write a note in each one.
- Write notes to my parents.
- Bachelorette party!
- And other things I know I’m forgetting.
Our weather forecast updated slightly…it will be partly cloudy, high of 88, with a 10% chance of rain.
