I totally just posted in the June 20th brides forum, and then I stumbled across all of you . . . my real wedding date twins! I have all of the vendors in place, but my wedding/reception is going to be at a family members home. There is going to be a lot of DIY projects in my future! The backyard is amazing (5 acres in Camarillo, CA), but I feel like I will need to really work hard to make sure that everything comes together. I feel like the wedding is so close, yet so far away.

Pretty quiet board.  How are all your projects coming?  I was curious if you all have your wedding bands yet.  We have not ordered them yet and I’m stressed about it!

Invites are out! Website is up. Dresses are in. Things are running as smoothly as can be I think…I still need to figure out flowers, but whether they’re from the flower market or super market we’ll see. How are your projects and everything?

Fiance just ordered his band from etsy (titaniumknights–or something like that) this past Monday and it came yesterday (very quick!). I’m going to pick one out at Tiffany’s to match my e-ring (hopefully) this weekend. I too am a little stressed about it, but I think it’s kind of like buying the dress–you have to get yourself into the store and start trying them on before finding THE ONE. At least with most wedding bands, they don’t have to be custom made or ordered 6-9 mo in advance!

It’s definitely exciting times!

We’re expecting about 250 people, so we’re not using placecards, but as for assigning people to tables, I’m going to recycle my RSVP cards. I fell in love with the idea that was posted on one of these wedding blogs. Basically, the bride took the RSVP cards and stamped each person/set of people’s assigned table number onto it and displayed them on ribbons. So guests would scan these for their table numbers. I’m altering this idea slightly. The plan is to take all the RSVPs, put them in a giant scrapbook, stamp the table numbers, and tell guests to find their tables/use the extra space as they would for a guestbook. I’d have used escort cards, but the thought of seeing most of them thrown out at the end of the night (as was the case at my engagement party) kind of made me go with this alternative.

What do you plan on doing?

30 Days out!! Have you had your panic attack yet? 🙂  I just feel like I’m bleeding money daily  as there is always something left to buy or a deposit to pay off.  I hope I win the lottery today…

Little, I love your idea of using the RSVP cards in an album.  I wanted to keep my RSVP cards as a momento, but what a great way to actually display and use them!!  I might have to borrow that idea (if you don’t mind, that is)!!

My RSVP deadline was on May 23, and I’m still waiting for about 20 of them.  Not too bad, considering I sent out 125 of them!!

Money..who has any of that these days?  Every day I am shelling out more cash to someone or running out to pick up something that we need for the reception or a DIY.

Stress Level = WAY HIGH.  I have a bunch of DIY projects to get done yet…..ceremony programs, card box, menu cards, slide show, seating chart, candy buffet labels, thank you cards, rehearsal dinner invites, and a few other little things.  When will I get it all done?  I have no idea!  A little bit each day is all I can hope for!  I didn’t do anything for about 4 weeks after I sent out the invites.  It took so much work to get those babies done that I just didn’t want to do anything for awhile (of course, I made them myself!).

I had my first dress fitting 2 weeks ago…and I LOVE my dress.  It’s awesome in every way and it is SO ME.  I go back on June 9th to try it on again.  I can’t wait!!!

30 days to go!  I can’t even believe it.  We got engaged so long ago, where did the time go???

Good luck with all of your planning and deadlines!!!!

Ladies!!! We have a little over 3 weeks!!! Oh lordy!

What are your ‘game plans’? Are you constanty looking at your To-Do list? I think I am doing well and then I look at my list and think, "Oh my word! When will I find the time?!?!"

I am going to my parent’s house this weekend and my aunt is coming over to help me and my mom finish up some projects. I am also asking my sister to help me on a project that I really have no direction on or vision. I am going to tell her to just run with it!

I am also finding that I am thinking about so many other things, that I forget either all together or till I start to get a headach to eat lunch. When I am at work I am constantly trying to finish the project I am working on then do some wedding planning in between. Then at lunch I try to work on some things or make calls. The other day on the way home (I take the bus) I started to feel really sick and realized that the only thing I had to eat that day was a home-made egg sandwich that morning! This is not good cause my dress fits perfectly and my seamstress told me not to lose any more weight or it will fall off and I will look sickly!

Ah! Anyways, sorry. I just needed to get that out there. Please tell me I am not alone in my little freak out/rush time!!!
