How we doing? 2 weeks to go!! What do you have left? Are you stressing or calm?
I really don’t have much left…we’ve more or less wrapped up everything with our vendors, delegated some tasks for the day, and organized as much as we can. We need to finish seating chart/place cards, purchase bridal party gifts on grooms side and we’re good! Feeling good and feeling super excited!

I’m actually pleasantly surprised at how little I have left to do. Two weeks ago, my to do list was a billion miles long, but the pressure/time crunch has been good for me and I’ve made tons of decisions on things I’ve been waffling on for awhile.
I still have to finish the escort cards (they’re all typed up, just have to print and assemble them), finish my bridesmaid’s gifts – looking for one more item, purchase gifts for the moms and dads (I know what we’re getting, we just haven’t done it yet), finalize some ceremony stuff (we’re writing our own script and FI’s friend is officiating) and a few more little, small details.
Oh, and I also need to figure out my jewelry – I have my earrings, but I need to figure out whether or not I’m wearing the necklace that matches, and I need to find a bracelet.
So, I’m not totally done, but at this point, things feel manageable. Hard to believe it’s only two weeks away!

Wow, I wish I was this organized! With our families on opposite coasts and us somewhere in the middle, it’s been a little bit of a pain. I think we finally got the guys’ clothes ordered. My mother has purchased some of the decor so we can’t deal with that until she gets here. The folks we are planning to get pastries from for brunch the next day are ridiculously slow getting back to me, to the point where I’m thinking we should just go to a diner instead but haven’t quite given up – they are so delicious!
On the other hand, we’re having a very very casual wedding overall. We’re cooking all the meals ourselves; the fiance insisted because he’ll feel more comfortable behind a grill than having to ‘mingle’, poor soul. I’ve had my dress and the girls’ dresses for months, jewelry and shoes all taken care of (holy cow, just realized he has no shoes yet!). I feel like what’s really left is organizing who is doing what and when. And writing our very short vows.
Still with all the stress now, we’re totally looking forward to the day of. it’s coming so fast!
