My list gets bigger every day but here are the big ones:
Tracking down RSVPs – I just don’t understand what is so hard about writing in a number and placing a card in a pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelope and mailing it. Then of course I have the people that “don’t understand why you need the silly card back anyway, you know I’ll be there”.
Seating Chart – I have started this and it’s so difficult. First off, I don’t have all of my RSVPs so it’s really impossible to complete the seating chart and secondly, trying to figure out where to put everyone and make sure they know people and like people is just mentally exhausting.
Bridesmaids Dresses are MIA – They were ordered mid-February and I was told they would be in by the last week in April. I called the last week of April and the first week of May to see if they had been shipped or if there was an better estimate of when they could be expected in and no one could answer me. I called again yesterday and was told the shop has been really backed up and dresses are coming in the week before the wedding so not to expect them in until the last week of May. Then, my girls need to be flexible and get them altered within a week and they only do alterations Monday – Friday which I wasn’t told until yesterday.
DIY Projects – We still need to assemble our program fans, centerpieces, favors, and card box.
I am sure there are many more but there items are stressing me out the most right now. What do the rest of my date twins have going on?

RSVPs for sure. My mom volunteered to call her family members way back when, but now she decided to email instead. Yeah, that doesnt work as well. I’m calling today.
Transportation vendors not getting back to me for quotes on shuttle rental
Future Mother-In-Law never sent rehearsal dinner invites, and now needs to know what meals everyone wants
Sewing color swatches into wedding gown
Trial flower run
EDIT: BIG one. PASSPORT. Nervously waiting for our renewals to arrive in the mail.

@Roe: You just reminded me, I never finalized transportation and I also have no chairs for the ceremony…..

@aheavel: Gah! Also need about 20 additional ceremony chairs….

I have a lot of other things to take care instead of the wedding so unfortunatly everything is on the back burner. Because of the mistake in the RSVP date, we have been tracking people down since 2 weeks after we sent the invites.
I still have our escort cards to do. My Fiance still has to design some of our paper products. We have to purchase our cardstock. Luckily I have two very willing and able FSIL’s who are willing to help however way they can.
My Fiance and I work very well together but are both HUGE procrastinators so I’m sure we will be getting this done 2 weeks before the wedding but it will get done.
I still have to figure out what I want to do for my hair. I have no jewerly or hairpieces.
Still have to decide gifts for EVERYONE except Fiance.
We also have to make our photo guestbook.

@TopazWedding: I still need to do the escort cards, which I need to finish the table assignments first, which I need all of my RSVPs for so that’s definitely not happening any time soon.
Oh, and I need to figure out who we are using for our hair. My cousin was going to do it but, she stepped in for a bridesmaid that dropped out. Ugh!

guestlist and seating chart. are my big ones….

I feel like we have everything to do. Oy. My parents are driving 10 hours to visit this weekend to help out with wedding stuff.

Oh, sweetie, that’s a LOT on your shoulders :(..i think we all worry a little too much over details. I hope guests will take in the idea behind every detail and grasp the meaning of it all but maybe it’s a little too much to expect, i guess.
Don’t you have anyone you can ask for help???

I’m June 8th, but will join anyway.
- Programs- designing them myself, FINALLY got them almost finished last night, but still have tweeking and to get them printed
- Final music selections, for ceremony, and other random parts of the reception like cake cutting, etc.
- Still haven’t finished all out premarital counseling, will have to do a bunch the week of the wedding
- Get my hair trimmed!!
- Start making a list of final payments, etc
- Start thinking of what we need to pack for honeymoon!
- I spontaneously ordered a reception dress, though not sure if it will fit or I will use it even if it does
- Hunting down bridesmaids to figure out who wants make-up done so I can finalize our appts
- Timeline day of, major stress!
There is more, but so stressed can’t even remember them! Aghhh

@aheavel: Heyllo date twin!!! An idea for your seating chart here 🙂 We were in the same position as you, luckily we have know gotten our final count but I did set up a mock seating arrangement, we put everyone who didn’t RSVP at the back tables…together 🙂 Rude maybe, but in case I didn’t ever hear from them they still had a spot and I didn’t have to worry!
That sucks about the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, we only have our daughter as an attendent so we lucked out! BUT I still need her dress altered from my mother, who smokes, so we are hoping we get it back with time to get the smell out!
@ChemistryBride: Our timeline is an excel spreadsheet that is very simple! It is organized by time, then it has the location (with address), then what is happening, then a column for WHO needs to be there (I need to add cell numbers to this). It was actually pretty easy and will be very helpful. I will send it out to everyone who has their name on it 🙂
I am the world’s worst GET THINGS DONE person, I have never been a procrastinator 🙂 I think I drove people nuts trying to get everything done, but they are all thanking me now because we are down to 19 days and the only things that are left are favors (we are using trail mix and want to keep it fresh as possible), purchasing water and pop, and decorating the actual venue (family farm so we have the week of to get this done).
Otherwise I ahve my trial runs for hair and makeup this week, hair highlighting next week and a few days off to get it all accomplished with time to put out any fires!

Oh yeah, I still haven’t gotten my dress altered either. I go tomorrow for my first appointment. I had let them know I was waiting for my bridesmaids dresses to get in so we could all go together and they told me that was fine and then kinda chewed me out a few weeks later for not having alterations done yet.
Still no bridesmaids dresses and from Alfred Angelo’s FB page I can see I am not alone.
Still need to figure out the gifts for our parents, have no idea what to do there.
Need to get my music lists together (goal is to do this today)
Need to order escort cards (once again, goal is today)
Finalize seating chart (goal is today)
Still looking for someone to do our hair, I have a few potential options but none of them are ideal so far. I am hoping to just suck it up and pick the best out of what I have available by tomorrow.
My fiance is home from work tomorrow so he is going to finish assmebling the centerpieces and maybe even the programs if I ask nicely 🙂
Just about done with booking the shuttle. She just needs to make one minor adjustment to the contract and I will be calling in the payment.
I was able to reserve my ceremony chairs yesterday – progress, yay!

@aheavel: you read my mind about RSVPs. I don’t even know how many time I’ve went on that same tirade…what is SO HARD about filling out a STUPID PIECE OF PAPER???!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
