I’m looking at table linens today and hopefully nailing down our reception time so I can order invitatations. I FINALLY got save the dates out this past week, yay!
So, what are you ladies getting done this weekend? It’s crunch time!

crunch time!? Oh no!! I’m a June bride and Still need to get going on my shoes, bridal party gifts, invitations etc. All of my vendors are reserved and venue but I feel like its the little things that are giving me anxiety, such as choosing invitations, and escort cards . I’m having a destination wedding this makes it a tad bit frustrating. LOL
@jrzvol: what are your colors?? mine are Hot pink and orange.:)

Hopefully booking the honeymoon! Though that may not happen until tomorrow because we’re going through a travel agent.

This past week I have:
- Finalized our linens. ie: picked them out, put down the deposit. Also got..
- Centerpeices all picked out and rented.
- Decided and picked out flowers. (1 Bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid, 2 mom corsages)
- Got in 4 of the bridesmaid gifts!
In the next month I plan on doing the following:
- Picking out a cake
- Buying the cake toppers
- Picking out more bridal party gifts
- Buying a ring bearer pillow
- Ordering earrings
- Make the bridesmaids pick their dresses
- Push my lazy fiancé to pick his tux!

This weekend I had a mini hair trial. I went to get my haircut, and my hair dresser (I’ve had the same one for years and years), wanted to play around a bit with hairstyles for fun. She didn’t charge me for it either – but I gave her an extra tip because she was so sweet. I pretty much know now what I’m going to do for my hair.
This weekend we’re making a list of stuff to register for. We won’t have very many things, but we’re both ok with that. Then, I have to call mom and dad and ask if they find the price of caterer/DJ/photographer to be reasonable, so I can book those things this week.
Today I’m hoping to finish making the thank you cards and start on a list of addresses for guests. Maybe I’ll also play around with invitation wording, and read some hotel reviews of the 3 or 4 that are super close to our venue.

@Birdi: Mine are coral and orange! Maybe some light pink in there too.
I only say its crunch time because I still have so much to do! Today I got linens picked and set our ceremony time, so I should be able to order invitations in the next week or two. Now time to write our ceremony and find a rehearsal dinner space!
I still need to:
– book a florist
– pick music
– order invitations
– plan rehearsal, which will probably be difficult because my venue told me they cant guarantee which day my rehearsal will be until 2 months out. hmmm
-book hair/makeup, but I think I know who I’m using
-order bridesmaid dresses/tuxes
– everything else!! ahh!

I just did catering tasting and hair and makeup trial.
In the next month, I plan on
-addressing and putting together invitations (we are sending them in march)
-placing our chair rental orders
-planning/booking our honeymoon!

@jrzvol: Lol! we can go crazy together:)! I still have to search restaurants for our rehersal I hope I can find one close to our hotel/ceremony/reception site. My man motivates me 🙂 He’s a get er done type of guy! Thank goodness for that! Are you having an outdoor ceremony?
We are getting married at the grand plaza in St. Pete Beach FL so beach ceremony and indoor reception. Good lord it’s going to hot !!

This weekend I will be going to look for bridesmaids dresses for my sisters! Hopefully we will find them that day! I don’t even have colors picked out, but will hopefully figure that out once we start looking! lol Then the following Teusday I will be going to my first dress fitting! I’m very excited and nervous at the same time!!!

I have to get the final, final, final guest list copy to our letterpress company.
I’m stressing over the plus one’s.

I am having my tasting this weekend, and hopefully getting all the rentals set during the tasting. I also need to book my trial hair and makeup, and finalize the rehearsal dinner with my Future Mother-In-Law. Other than that, I think I’m good (famous last words)!

I’m caking tasting this weekend! It will be our third and final place so hopefully we can decide on a place after this. We also need to decide/book honeymoon, as well as work on invitations and maybe contact a few florists. lol, i doubt it’ll be done this weekend..but its a start. I feel like i’m behind schedule already!!

The only “big” things I have on my to-do list are invitations and music. I also need decor (centerpieces – but I have those picked out already, just need to purchase) and I also need to get my jewelry finalized, but I’m having that made. We’re moving to CA 2 weeks before the wedding, so I’m more stressed about the logistics of that than the logistics of the wedding!

@skylar1224: I am doing this same thing! I have an appt. Saturday, so the remaining BMs who haven’t ordered their dresses are going to get measured and order them! YAY!
@Birdi: I am in a similar process, except I am trying to find a caterer not a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner! Hopefully my mom and I can meet with some chefs next week!
I am also menu tasting next weekend! Can’t wait for that =) After that I want to work on invitations and groomsmen/groom attire…I can’t believe I am almost at the 5 month mark!
