Ack!  It’s getting so close!  I’m a teacher, so waiting for school to get out next week to really get cracking on a lot of DIY!  Still have to finish paper flower centerpieces, make programs, table numbers, escort cards, finish Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts, and have my last dress fitting.  Only a few more people left to confirm their RSVP, because it is REALLY so hard to drop the addressed, stamped envelope in the mail apparently πŸ™‚

June 9th here! We’re still tracking down RSVP stragglers, and once that’s finished, we have to do table numbers and escort cards. We have our meeting with the DJ next week, and I have to to schedule my final dress fitting which will probably be next week as well. I also have one small thing left to do for the bridesmaid gifts. Oh yeah, and I’m still waiting for my custom cake topper I ordered on Etsy last November. Yeah, not too happy about that.

Omg, too much left to do, ackkkk!

Like everyone else, waiting for rsvps to come in, buying and making all the little “things” and decor that personalizes the wedding, Fiance and his guys still has to get fitted for their suits, I still have to get my dress fittings/alterations out of the way, dye my bridal shoes, design programs and guest table numbers, get our marriage license, buy bridal party gifts, decide on a guestbook idea, decide on rehearsal dinner location, the list goes on and on…i better stop writing and go work on some wedding stuff πŸ™‚

I guess I’m lucky, were having a small wedding of 50 and they’re all close family and friends so it was super easy to get rsvps. And since it’s so small were just putting signs on the front tables that say reserved, for our immediate family and the other four tables are sit wherever you want. πŸ™‚ I have my last fitting on Monday because the last lady wouldn’t fit my dress to me ( I wNt it like a glove) she just kept sYing no, it’s fine like that blah. So I made a day with another lady!

I still have a lot of little things to do!! At the beginning of wedding planning I was so proud of myself for being on the ball with everything, I was even a little ahead. Then school and other things got in the way and now I’m realizing how much I still have to do!!!

June 10th!!! All smooth so far πŸ™‚ Today i am picking the cards for the sitting plan (ceremony). On the weekend i am working on the organza wrappings for the envased pansies we’re offering the ladies. On Monday, i am picking up the printed frame so that i can attach the sitting chart (reception). I also have to check with the DJ (my stepson) if he’s indeed working on the playlists and INSIST!!!!!! I am having my final fitting on May 26th (omg, feeling shivers down my spine!!!!!) and if all goes well i am bringing  (finally!) my dress, veil and shoes safely home..

Oh God.

Dye my hair, practice my makeup, pick up, wrap, and successfully hide my fiance’s wedding present (shh we’re not supposed to be getting each other presents)

Wrap bmaid/ceremony helper gifts and write loving, thoughtful cards

Find a rehearsal dinner outfit

Find a ring pillow, guest book, make a card box

More to the point, FINISH A 25 PAGE PAPER before I can actually start working on all this stuff

Actually, now that you look at it, it doesn’t look that bad . . . I can totally do this! Happy wedding everybody!
