My first fitting is March 9th, but that’s because the neckline has to be almost completely redone – I don’t know what the timeline should be…

March 16th. They wouldn’t take me any earlier! And I have a lot of things to ask about and have done:

-adding a bustle

-bringing the neckline down or altering it to a sweetheart (i have a short torso and it sits too high as it is)

-hemming

-having some silk roses from the train moved to the front of the dress

I had my first fitting last week just to give my seamstress plenty of time for my gigantic ballgown/train. I have my next fitting in a month and my final fitting probably early May. I don’t plan to lose any weight. I’m having a 20point bustle, hemming, taking in my hips and waist, and lowering the back of my dress possibly.

I am having my fitting May 13th almost one month before the wedding. Too much could happen between now and the wedding, and I’m still debating on shoes. But when i went to try on my dress, it fit like a glove the only alterations needed was the length.

I’m still waiting for my dress to come in. It was custom fitted when I ordered it and it should be in April. I’m hoping everything goes well then because I’m going to have to take it 1,200 miles to California.

My inital fitting was a month and a half ago, and I go for my next fitting on the 12th. I am super excited because it is going to be more the way I am envisioning it on this fitting! 🙂

I wouldn’t worry at all.  My dress isn’t even due in yet!  They didnt seem worried… plus the closer to the wedding date, the closer to the weight I will be.  Not that I plan to lose a lot, but even 5 pounds makes a big difference in how my clothes fit.

My first fitting is in April, exactly two months before the wedding. It’s only being taken in a bit and bustled, so I’m not worried. My weight tends to fluctuate so I wanted to wait as long as possible.

My first fitting is April 27th. I wanted to put it off as long as possible in hopes I can lose some more weight! My dress won’t need much for alterations, maybe take some in on the sides and add a bustle.

My dress came in earlier this month. I went to the store, tried it on and got to take it home. It’s now living in my old bedroom closet at my Mom’s.  It fit perfectly. Luckily, not to many alterations need to be made — just darts in the bust and a bustle for the train. My first meeting with the alterations department is scheduled for April 12th.

I go in tomorrow for a fitting.  I’ve been working with a seamstress to change up a non-bridal dress.  It’s still pretty non-bridal but I luvs it.  I’m annoyed though because the wax lady cancelled on me so I’m gonna have hairy pits ><
