@irin997:  I think it depends on what you want to do… Some ladies start POAS at 10 DPO (some earlier). I’m a wait til AFer (except last month when I swore something was up and I was pregnant but alas stupid body I was wrong and after testing on 11DPO I got AF the next day :()

This month I have some cheapies so if I have a need to check I can use them πŸ™‚ I only checked last month because I had a hard boxing class at the gym and didnt want to chance anything – thou I spoke to my instructor and she said I would be ok regardless – just wear a heart rate monitor and try keep my rate steady and below 140.

Hoping I can wait til AF this month thou so that’s the date I use as my POAS  πŸ™‚

@irin997:  I am testing on the last day of my LP. So i typically have an 11 day LP with AF on day 12. So I test on 11 DPO which is June 1st.

I really really hate the feeling of not knowing the time frame of when I will O during my cycle! I know some of you ladies know what I’m talking about… I just breathe a sign of relief every morning I see my temp is down because that means I have more chances to BD for my BFP! I’m on my 2nd cycle off mirena and was not regular AT ALL before going on BC back in my teens– think 3-4 cycles/year (which was super convenient back then)… I’m afraid that my cycles won’t be regular or reliable now that I want them to be. Just had to vent!! I’m getting in to the time frame where I feel like timing is everything, so this is all constantly weighing my mind.

Thinking that if this isn’t a successful month we will try adding in OPKs….

Can I join in too please? This is our 1st cycle TTC πŸ™‚ I’ve been really bad for symptom spotting as I’ve been feeling awful for the last few days. Cramping (but sort of a tweaking/stretching if that makes sense) in lower abdomen, dizzy, exhausted, tearful, sniffles, back ache… the list goes on lol.

Current Cycle Day/DPO: 8DPO

Ovulation Date: May 17th

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: June 2nd – DPO16

Cycles Trying: 1st

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): pre-natals, bd-ing every day until two days ago, preseed, drinking green tea.

Link to Chart, if any:

Any fun summer plans?: Getting married in 35 days, then honeymoon in late summer πŸ™‚

I’m thinking I didn’t ovulate this month. Even with putting in “fake” data in FF for the rest of May, I don’t get crosshairs at all. So, thinking this month is out for me. Stupid birth control. Stupid old body πŸ™

@Utopia4us:  last month I O’d on CD18 so the positive OPK on CD13 was really surprising. I’ve got a million of those wondfro OPK’s so I started testing again today. We’ll see what the rest of the cycle brings.

@Glasgowbound:  sounds like the plan of attack I would take! When in doubt pee on all the sticks! I know it is possible to have multiple LH surges

I finally got my CH! They are dashed lines because I had a + OPK, then two days of just very slightly higher temps, then a temp spike. FF says I O’d on CD19, which is great because I’m much earlier than I have been in the past. So my official FF test date is June 7th, but I’ll be sticking with June 3rd for now. I’ll be 11DPO so It will hopefully be ok.

Any fun summer plans?: Going to Seattle for a conference in June, and to Florida for a wedding in July. Then looking forward to NOT traveling for a while! I’ve had to fly across the country every month since January and I’m sick of flying!  Getting KU is definitely in the plans as well! πŸ™‚
