Well hello there! I had a big disappointing visit today so I’m CD1. I have shorter cycles (though I think I’m still irregular due to coming off BCP five months ago) so I will probably be targeting June 7th  (this is a day early, but I’m in a wedding that weekend and my duties start on the 8th).

I’m in πŸ™‚ I’m on my 2nd cycle TTC, on CD3 right now. If my cycle is as short as it was this past cycle (26 days), I’ll be testing on June 1st, which would be my expected 14 dpo. Although I just bought Wondfo cheap HCG tests so I’ll probably cave before that like I did last cycle. But heaps of baby dust to everyone!

I’m in! Cycle 3 and CD 7 for me. I’ve got 31 day cycles pretty regularly. If I can keep strong I’ll POAS June 34th but knowing me I’ll cave and test June 1st or so :/

Keeping everyone in my thoughts! FX and baby dust!

@StaceyA:  i was just thinking that maybe i’d start a June board, then got here and you’d beaten me to it!! thanks πŸ™‚

I’m CD3, and my cycles have been anywhere from 28-43 days in the last twenty or so months, so who knows when I’ll be testing. I’ve used OPKs for the past two months and I seem to have a pretty regular 14 day LP (but with spotting starting at 10 or 11DPO usually), so i’ll have more idea once I O.

We went off all birth control last October, so this is our 8th cycle trying, although I didn’t really get knowledgable about it all until January, so I guess I kinda think of it as our 5th cycle of active trying. Not that many people ever have to get ‘knowledgeable’ to get pregnant!!

This cycle I’m taking a proper pre-conception multivitamin, with B complex vitamins, instead of just folic acid, so hoping that might help. And I’m promising myself that I’ll keep my hopes in check – coz I had them way too high last month and the crash hurt a bit.

What are your plans this month?? Anything different?

How did I miss this thread?  Anyways, I’m CD2 and honestly have no idea when I’ll POAS since my cycles have been between 26-31 days since November until this past month when it was 23 days.

So now I feel like I might have started testing toooo late and that’s why I never got a postive OPK last month.  Going to start testing CD5 this time to be sure.

@hamikay:  I didn’t have high hopes for last month but I know what you are talking about….it’s really depressing!  My order for more OPKs and Preseed shipped yesterday so hopefully I’ll get it early next week.  DH’s work has this new “get fit” thing going on for 8 weeks.  You do something different each week so we’re gonna try it.

My June POAS Changes:

This month I’m going to try out the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor (suggested by my doc), and I’ll let you ladies know how that progresses.

I’m also planning to ask Darling Husband to cut out the alcohol during the most fertile times – I’ve heard that can make a difference? Anyone have thoughts on that?

Lastly, I’m getting my butt back into shape. I just downloaded the MyFitnessPal Ap yesterday and today is my first day of “tracking” food and exercise. I figure if I can track my temp and CM, I can track my food and exercise too!!!

I’m cutting back on sugar and fried foods to help with getting in better shape.  I did that last spring and it was great.. but then cake was great too and i fell off the wagon :/

I’m also taking royal jelly this cycle, picked up some pre seed and am going to get a multi-vitamin or zinc for Darling Husband to take.

Darling Husband is iaway for the month of May for medical school so I’m going to visit him for 5 days around O. Hope it’s enough!  It’s definitely harder to go through the time before O and the TWW alone though….

@StaceyA:  Yup I’m in the same boat (except substitute golf tourney for being MOH in my favorite gal’s wedding) – planning to test on the 7th in the morning before arriving at the start of the wedding festivities that night.

I’m hoping AF either shows or BFP shows that morning – I would hate to be in limbo through the wedding and then have AF show up afterwards.

I was pretty upset about how short my cycle -26 days (and LP in particular – 9DPO) was. Darling Husband of course pointed out that the cycle before it was longer than I expected (at 32 days) so I should just chill and assume that BCP may still be making its way out of my system.  My immediate reactions were (1) that’s so logical and (2) hey – he’s actually paying attention!!??

@iRun2004:  Ooo, let us know how that fertility monitor works for you…I can’t justify getting it just yet.  Kudos to your hubby paying attention.  I swear I have to explain the entire monthly cycle to him each month.  Guess he ditched on those sex ed days.

@knittylady:  What’s royal jelly?

@StaceyA:  So when should Darling Husband NOT drink?  He didn’t want me to this month…but there’s a vineyard walk on Saturday and I’m dying to go sample some wine.  Not like we don’t have a abundant supply in the house.
