Rolling over to July. Came home and tested because I’ve had such a bad headache all day and wanted to know if I was okay to take Naproxen or not (it’s the only thing that seems to work for me). So I tested. Got a BFN. Didn’t think I’d be so happy to see a negative, popped those 2 Naproxen faster than I ever have before.

Oh, and I swear, if you ever want to get AF, just take a pregnancy test. She seems to love it when you waste your money because she appears right after. Now debating about calling today CD1 or yesterday. I suppose it doesn’t really matter because it shouldn’t make too much difference in the charting.

Well I think I am definitely out this month I still don’t have AF but I have had spotting all day today, I even had to wear a liner. Tomorrow AF should be here full force, so no need to waste another pregnancy test. TTC can get very frustating, I wish I would just be pregnant already!

candy11:  I hope that’s the case! The opks have said “no” (digital) but I only started doing them basically late the night of the day I theoretically ovulated (if the temp rise was it)…. I read that if you test with these things after -too late on the actual day then it probably won’t register so I do have a chance 🙂

shanbp:  ff said I ovulated the day I got a negative opk also (only did one late at night). I think temps are much more reliable than opks but they are good as a secondary confirmation.

I never roll called on this list!

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD14

Ovulation Date: I think i might ovulate tomorrow or Saturday. It seems my body likes weekend ovulations best lol.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: June 21st

Cycles Trying: This is our 3rd cycle TTC<br />

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Sort of following the SMEP.  Every other day until +OPK. I’m also drinking raspberry leaf tea and taking a prenatal, Bcomplex+folic acid, magnesium or vitamin D every other day.  Trying to get Darling Husband to take a vitamin too.

Link to Chart, if any: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/swizzle

and for fun –

What are the big plans this month/cycle aside from TTC? Going to the beach next weekend which will be nice to help take my mind off of POAS and all that.

shanbp:  If you arent testing twice a day its definitely possibly to miss your surge. Last time i surged through the night so if i had waited i would have missed it. And my test the day before was a huge negative so i was surprised.  I now always test morning and night to catch it.

MrsDecember2012:  totally! I kinda figure I’ll let the POK’s go for now just cause the one I have does seem to be sensitive to even the time you take it etc…. BUT I did get another big spike this morning (stayed high) so I got my FF crosshairs and its estimating I O on monday like I possibly thought. Im hoping its true cause that means we BD in the window!!

Swizzle:  ya I wasnt testing twice because its digital and they are stupidly expensive (first kit I bought). I tried to find strips but couldnt find any anywhere for the moment. I think I missed the surge cause now I have my crosshairs and sure enough it was possibly monday and I didnt do my first  test until monday night so it makes sense. But its exciting if I did …even if I dont get ku this round at least my cycle is normalizing!

Gah! This sucks ladies. Have to vent for a second.

Month 11. Didn’t happen. So I get AF. And the next day a friend texts me (while I have horrid cramps!) that she is 15 weeks pregnant. 🙁 I’m so genuinely happy for her! Yet I had hoped we would be pregnant at the same time.

So I tell my husband she is pregnant and how I’d hoped we would be at the same time. He tells me “don’t do that” (this is via text because I’m doing bridesmaid stuff with my lil sisters). Which upsets me even more! I sent back, “Please don’t make me feel bad for expressing my feelings.” Which started a little back and forth in text.

Fast forward to later that afternoon when we are face to face. We start talking about it, tears well up in my eyes. I told him I’m now considered infertile due to trying for a year. He finally got it. He’s been supportive, yet very casual about it. He finally saw the pain on my face. I’ll admit I’ve been trying to keep my hurt to myself and trying to put on an optimistic face. He asked if I wanted him to go get tested. Then he just held me while I cried. He said “It’ll happen for us. The world NEEDS us to be parents.”

Sorry to thread jack. Maybe this should be it’s own post. But I had to vent to you ladies who would understand. I really wanted to be pregnant at the same time as her. And the kicker was when she said they just had sex for a month and that was it.

Best of luck to all of you. I’ll still be around and hope to POAS later this month. Thank you for reading.

Today is 6 DPO for me. And for some reason during this TWW I am pretty relaxed…so far. I was a bit emotional and moody around O through 4 DPO….but it may also be because its been so hot and humid lately. My BBT rose slowly this cycle after ovulation instead of having a clear/drastic rise. Hopefully FF doesnt change my crosshairs because we havent BD’d lately due to the heat (my husband works in a factory with no air conditioning so hes been out of commission when he gets home).

CocoLoco523:  i am so sorry for you…and I completely understand. As you know – I am pretty much in the same boat as you (ie – irregular cycles – June being a year of TTC).  I probably breakdown about TTC once every 2 months – since Decemember – especially after finding out my SIL got knocked up with baby number 2 on OUR wedding night!  Countless other pregnancy announcemnts didnt help either – but my SIL was the worst. Thank goodness we both have optimistic and supportive husbands.  But just as I know to my core I will be a mother one day, I know you will be too!
