LadyBear: Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that!
MechEBee: I count the day after AF was due as my POAS date. ….I don’t always make it to that date but that is my “official”.
ecjohnson: Congrats to you! What a great birthday present.
lastlastfirst: I think this is too late but I go w the theory that it never hurts to ask. It might be too early but if they’re already sticking a needle in you….
mkat37: Hahaha, that’s awesome. I’ve had some pretty weird dreams during this whole TTC experience. I often wake up, shaking my head and wondering what’s up with my brain.
Crossing my fingers for all you guys that are close to POAS!

MapleCreekBride: I’m feeling the same way! It’s my first cycle as well and I feel like I’m analyzing every ovary twinge, cramp, and symptom. I’m wondering if this happens every cycle and I just don’t notice it or if this cycle is different for a reason. I know I never truly appreciated how agonizing the TWW could be until now!
I’m 12dpo today. Picking up pee sticks tonight after work. Convince me that I should just wait until tomorrow morning to test and not POAS the millisecond I get home with the tests!

MapleCreekBride: 3 days old!! That’s just cruel! lol. We’re getting together with friends of ours who have an 11 month old tomorrow night and I thought that was going to be hard enough!

GearBride: I did ask! I called my OB’s nurse before I went to the lab and although she probably thought I was a little crazy for being so anxious, my OB was happy to appease me when she asked. In retrospect, it was just way too soon to think the result would be anything, but negative at 8dpo based on previous experience.
MapleCreekBride: Lots of symptoms happening here!! Since DH and I have conceived 4 times in the last 9 months (all chemical pregnancies) I am pretty confident in the signs I personally experience and have called the pregnancies each time. This cycle is different though…first time I was on meds for a “superovulation” and it’s my first cycle taking progesterone, so I’m not sure how many signs and symptoms could be effects from the meds? I’m over analyzing EVERYTHING and when we get a BFP I don’t quite think we’ll be at ease until things actually start progressing for once. FX for a weekend of great news from a bunch of us!!

lastlastfirst: yes and praying for a sticky baby for you this time around if you get a BFP!
mkat37: haha yes it was torture! And even more because nobody knows we are TTC and could potentially be pregnant as we speak!

Today is CD 43, a full 11 days later than my longest ‘regular’ timeframe.
I was actually thinking today that I would test again on the weekend and if that was still showing BFN, I was going to book an appointment with the doctor.
About half an hour ago, I noticed some brown spotting when I used the bathroom. I’m expecting AF to show up by morning ๐
On the one hand, I’m disappointed that I’m not pregnant. On the other hand, I’m glad I FINALLY know what’s going on with my body. I bought a thermometer a few days ago and have been testing for the last few days. I guess I’ll get started for real tomorrow, assuming AF shows up.
Sigh…

We need more BFPs to close the month ๐ I should be able to catch up now…has been a few busy days. Sister is out in vacations, so it just DH and I only. I am on CD14, and I don’t expect to ovulate until another week and a half. ๐ I am so looking forward to it.

smiles4jo: You might a late ovulator like me. I usually get AF around CD40 ish. I think charting really helps pinpoint what could be going on, and it doesn’t have to be anything wrong. FX AF stays away.

candy11: You’re absolutely right – I probably did ovulate late, but I didn’t realize it cause I wasn’t charting. So, I’m actually looking forward to getting started this month and seeing if I can get a better idea of my cycles now that I’ll be charting. ๐
Or, maybe this spotting is implantation? ๐ Can’t blame a girl for being hopeful, huh? lol

candy11: I’m out. It’s hard to explain how it feels when AF comes…. All hope dies, but all anxiousness dies too and I’m back to knowing it’s just me in my body and no wondering left to be done. I slept through the night for the first time in a week last night. Now I have to go sip on a coctail and start looking at July!
