Hmmm…here’s what’s left on our list:

1) Write the ceremony/vows.

2) Get my new dress altered…have that appointment scheduled for June 2; it just needs hemming, to be taken in at the waist, and a bustle. The seamstress hopes to have it back to me on June 11.

3) Have a hair trial with my stylist here in TX, so I can provide the stylist in DC with pictures of ME with the hairstyle I want, not some celebrity or random internet person. I figured that would be more helpful in getting my hair done well.

4) Make a decision on getting a DOC, and if the decision is to get one, then I need to find one.

5) Send the restaurant the meal selections for each guest.

6) Talk to the ceremony and reception sites about sounds systems (we’re iPod-ing all the music).

7) Make a packing list for our immediate post-wedding Disney family-moon; the kids don’t know that we’re all going to Disney the day after the wedding, so I have to pack their extra clothes surrepitiously. πŸ™‚

8) Make a packing list for our cruise honeymoon; we get back from Disney and have one day to pack for the cruise, so I need everything ready to go!

9) I need to tell the gal that’s making our custom cake topper that I have a brand new wedding dress! Yikes! I also need to get Fiance to tell her what he’s wearing, so she can finish our topper. And I need to pick up from the salon, and send to her, the extra fabric from my daughter’s dress so that can be used for the topper.

10) Decide whether to stick with my silk bouquet or have the florist make a fresh one.

I think that’s about it!

I’ve whittled a little bit more off. This is what I still have.

* Get marriage license

* Chose a restaurant for our reception

* Buy undergarment-foundation pieces

* Get shoes for RingBearer

* Have my dress altered, it should be here soon!

* Get RingBearer suit and FlowerGirl dress steamed and pressed

* Separate all the flower petals for flower girl basket

* Have my e-ring replated

The week before the wedding I’ll have my hair trial, that’s the only time she could get me in. And the night before my Future Sister-In-Law, Future Mother-In-Law and I will make the cupcake display.
