Due Date: June 12th

Gender (or if you’re Team Green!): Girl! YES!

How you’re feeling: If not for the kicks and occasional back pain I wouldn’t even notice being pregnant. After the initial sickness it’s been very low key and breezy.

Are you in maternity clothes?: Yup, for the most part. I got big quickly.

Weight gain?: 7 pounds so far. I was hospitalized with a bout of pretty rough bronchitis recently and lost 2 pounds.

Yay for part II!  Thanks Kansas for starting it!

I’m due the 21st of June (22 weeks tomorrow!)

We’re Team Green but I’m convinced it’s a boy – no real reason for that though.

Like Kansas and KatyElle, I’m feeling absolutely fantastic.  If it weren’t for the bulging belly, I wouldn’t even know I was pregnant.  The only time I feel it is during exercise when I find I lose my energy and breath a whole lot sooner than normal.  Really hoping the last trimester is as nice as the second tri has been.

Still not in maternity clothes but I am down to my last couple of pairs of comfortably fitting shorts.   Bizarrely, my skinny jeans still fit fine, although it’s too hot here to wear them.

Weight gain  – up 14 lbs now.  Trying really hard to not freak out over the number and just remind myself that I’m eating fairly healthy (with the random indulgences of course) and my body is just doing what it needs to do.

@KansasPrincess11:   Umm, I would DIE for some DQ right now!  I love blizzards, dilly bars, and peanut buster parfaits more than just about anything!  Sadly, no DQ here, argh…..

I’m glad you did htis I was thinking the same thing!

Due Date: 6/13/2012! It’s coming up so fast!

Gender: We’re having a boy

How you’re feeling: I’m still having a tough go at it. Puking a couple times a week and I just recently started passing out. However, the passing out thing we knew was a great possibility. I had a form of uterine cancer and have lots of scar tissue. It’s near a main blood source and as the baby grows and pushes against the tissue  it can stop blood flow to my brain and whamo I hit the deck. I just get dizzy more than anything, but in comparison to some of the other things, this isn’t as bad.

Are you in maternity clothes?: I’ve been in them for awhile. I’m huge. I know have huge purple stretch marks all around my belly button πŸ™

Weight gain: I’m still under my starting weight by 18lbs. I’ve gained 6lbs back that I’ve lost so far. My waist is 11″ bigger than prepregnancy!!

@KansasPrincess11:  I’m so addicted to the Peanut butter bash from DQ! I can’t get enough. Soft serve is on the no no list, but I don’t care lol.

@KatyElle:  I had pneumonia and was surprised to learn that it and bronchitis are one of the the common illness’ to get during pregnancy. It was awful. I’m sorry you had to go through that.

@mwitter80:  It sucks doesn’t it? That’s basically why they kept me, I’d had bronchitis for over a week and took no medication for it, so by the time I got to the hospital I was entering pneumonia gunky lungs territory. They found blood in the mucus I was coughing up and wanted to do a CAT scan to rule out a blood clot, but I refused. 4 days of medication later I’m feeling a little wheezy but not nearly as bad. My midwife says all looks good, so that’s a relief. I can’t even imagine how miserable actual pneumonia must be, ugh.

@KatyElle:  They said that I probably let something go on for too long and it just exploded into that. I think I was so tired and (I’m sure I’m not the only one) I’m producing so much mucus that I didn’t really notice a change. I was on my butt for 6 days. I just laid in bed for the most part. I lucked out and never got a high fever so the baby was never in any real danger. So that was a plus. Well I’m glad we’re both feeling better and hopefully that’s it!

Nice I was getting due dates and genders mixed up! This thread is perfect timing!

Due Date I’m 24 weeks +5 – due June 1st

Gender (or if you’re Team Green!) It looks a lot like a boy! But I really want to confirm at our 3D u/s March 17th, so until then he’s a he to us…but we’re holding of on purchasing boy clothes, ect.

How you’re feeling I feel fantastic! I have energy to cook and clean as well as keep active. I’m so happy since I felt ill throughout the whole 1st tri.

Are you in maternity clothes? I have purchased new pants from the non-mat section but they have no zippers/buttons and are strechy enough to fit well with room to grow. I’ve also purchased a fabulous pair of no-mat jeans that are slip ons as well. A lot of my tops are maternity but Im hoping I’ll only need to buy 1 or 2 maternity pants for the end – as Im not a fan of the full pannel (though that may change).

Weight gain? Ugh, as my last appointment at 23 weeks I was up 18 lbs. My Dr. told me to cut out sweets and to start having a couple walks a day. It was a little hard on my ego, but I’m working on being active and eating healthy with indulgences as treats in moderation (and in proper serving sizes!). My Darling Husband is being super supportive and telling me how great/cute/beautiful I look each day.

@KatyElle and Mwitter80 – Im so sorry this 2nd tri hasnt been as kind to you as it has been for the rest of us.

@Ree723 and Kansasprincess – now you ladies got me wanting DQ for breakfast!

Hi Ladies,

I’ve been quiet around here lately, as I just had a sister bonding weekend away from home πŸ™‚ Had a ton of fun, and it’s hard to believe it’s the last time I’ll see her before the baby! (We live on separate coasts.) I’ve LOVED the bump photos on the other thread and am glad that everyone is doing so well. I thought I had felt movement weeks ago, but I really haven’t felt anything that’s realiably “baby” since. Every time I think I feel something, it’s just my stomach growling due to hunger! Am hoping I’ll know for sure soon and that I just need to be patient. I do know that at my last check-up, my dr. had trouble hearing the heartbeat for any length of time since the baby kept moving!

Due Date: June 19

Gender (or if you’re Team Green!): Team Green! And I’m really worried about accidentally finding out! After our last ultrasound, I had a dream that I had a male British Dr. who said, “Well, yeah, that’s a genuine girl in there!”

How you’re feeling: Generally feeling well, though more aches and pains have developed since last week. Get more winded on stairs than I used to. Am 22w 1d today. Overall, tired and still trying to get any motivation to do something physical after work, even though I do end up walking bet. 3 and 4 mi. a day.

Are you in maternity clothes? Yup. All maternity pants, except for some stretchy ones I wear around the house. Still a mix of maternity and non-maternity tops. Everyone comments about how pregnant I look, especially when wearing maternity tops that have an empire waist!

Weight gain? This part scares me. As of 19w, I was up about 10. Been too scared to step on a scale at home, so I’m waiting ’til my next appointment next week.

Due Date June 23rd

Gender (or if you’re Team Green!) team grey, burnt orange and yellow lol, but i think we ae having a boy.

How you’re feeling Really crappy have had a bad case of gastro over the past 2 days and before that i was experiencing sharp pains in my uterus after running at bootcamp, I got checked out and it is ligamentous or round ligament pain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round_ligament_pain Baby is fine i just hurts me, for a day after I thought, well if it is not hurting baby then I’ll keep running etc, then I thought about how it might actually permanently damage me, so I have decided to still do bootcamp bt not run (which will kill me cause I am so competitive lol) plus i do lots of other exercise which doesn’t hurt, i do H20 bootcamp once a week, plus body pump, rpm and personal training. i just get so stressed out cause i have gained so much weight and I have been running 18+ kms per week, what will happen when i have to walk not run.

Are you in maternity clothes? No, I have jus gone up a size in normal clothes

Weight gain? Before gastro 8kgs (17.6 pounds)….now 7kgs(15.4 pounds) a lot is in my boobs, I have gone from a 32C to a 32F or 34E. My midwife also said because I was so small to begin with i put on a lot of weight early.

Due Date: June 5th (was pushed back last ultrasound)

Gender (or if you’re Team Green!): Team Green!

How you’re feeling: Almost perfect. I am having lots of backpain, especially my tailbone. Some people have told me that that is a sign that I will have lots of back labour. Awesome.

Are you in maternity clothes?: Sometimes. Most regular clothes still fit me except jeans.

Weight gain?: I am never told what it is at the docs office. When I check at home I am up about 15-18 pounds. I can’t help it when it comes to sweets. I also craved a LOT of greasy food in my first trimester. I am eating way better these days.

ETA: Yesterday at my doctors appointment, my doctor was measuring me and at first she said I was measuring small. She then did some more poking and prodding to find the top of my uterus and said, no maybe not it must just be turning in and hard to find. I asked her what it means to measure small and she said we would just have to do another ultrasound scan to see the growth. So after all is said and done, she ended up sending me another requisition for a 32 week ultrasound. So of course it’s making me wonder if this is normal or maybe she just wants to make sure? I’m aussming if it were anything serious she would have ordered the ultrasound ASAP?

@Lindsay05:  If what a big deal they would have sent you right away. (They sent me 2 days later when they worried) However, if I was you I would call the office and ask for a better explanation, since I would go nuts for the next 10 weeks fearing that something is wrong.
