I am eating my lunch while a student sits next to me, using the computer. She is planning my wedding. So far she has decided I will have my reception at McDonalds, but with whatever food I want. I told her kobe beef, sweet potato tater tots, and brussels sprouts. She wrote up a menu, and wrote, “Free! All you can eat buffet!” (I WISH). Now she’s picking out dresses for me. She wants me to wear…TEAL.
lol. FYI all my students want to come to my wedding. One kid was really offended when I said none of them were going to come (nicely of course!). He was like, “Miss that’s not right. We’re your students so we should be there.”
I teach reading in a middle school.

omg! i teach middle school science/social studies and my kids are pinning things on pinterest under boards called “ms. ajester2’s wedding”. it’s amazing. they all said they will show up whether i invite them or not, which is why i chose to get married out of town, but i still think a hand full of them will find a way to make it. they are trying to convince me to let them do my hair/makeup for the big day. HA!

@AJester2: I got engaged over spring break (in New Orleans loooove it there) and I came back and the kids saw my ring, like, immediately. They started SCREAMING. Ha.
One kid wrote about it in his journal, too. They’re so funny.
