(((HUGS)))  I understand, that has to be hard!  But be thankful (and I know you are) that your mom does have the time to do this for you.  When you become a mom (as I am) you will understand how much you love and adore your child.  She is doing this as a labor of love for you and it brings her a lot of happiness.  Best of luck to you.

@nhoh:  I hear ya. When we were planning our destination wedding in August my mom and Mother-In-Law did a majority of the legwork since my mom was on location and my Mother-In-Law is retired. I was and am beyond grateful for their help BUT everytime they gave me an update a little part of me was screaming ‘that should be me dammit!!!’ But I felt better knowing that they were having a ball with the prep and the amount of love that went into that day kind of washe away mydisappointment of not doing it myself. Good luck to you!

I’m sure it is hard that you don’t have the time to do the things you would like to be doing.

The alternative, if your Mom wasn’t able to devote the time, is that it just wouldn’t get done.

You wouldn’t have these things at your wedding.
