sweet71 :  thank you so much! Yours is beautiful too! I saw this ring in store and the two things I remember is that it’s 3.10 carats and that it’s D color. My ring size is 5.5.

Thanks! I’m not quite sure. It gets pretty thin as it meets the basket. But I think its a 1.5mm at its thickest. Then in the little spot it thins its about half that. Its a trellis setting, and is connected to the band in 2 spots for support. Hopefully that’s not confusing lol

mspenny :  it isn’t. Thank you! It’s beautiful. I love how delicate the band looks but it sounds like the connection at the lower point of the shank provides additional support.

There was a poster, a while back, who said she told the jeweler that she wanted her band so thin it looked like the stone was just floating on her finger. The result made me a big fan of beautifully done, super fine bands. Enjoy yours, it’s gorgeous!
