I am planning to wear my hair down and at first I figured that I would wear a tiara or something along with my veil. But now I’m thinking I might just wear some glittery bobby pins and just a veil. My mom and I are making my cathedral length veil (to save on money) and I think it will look more elegant with nothing else in my hair (except my bang pulled back by the pins). Anyone else just having a veil?

2 of my friends did 🙂
…neither with their hair down…but both with only a veil…

My hair will be up with only a veil. I actually only wanted a hairpiece, but my mom insisted I have a veil. I tried a veil + a hairpiece, but it looked too busy for me. 🙂

I’m wearing a veil only for the ceremony. My hair will be in a braided updo and I think anything else will distract from that. I don’t plan on wearing the veil for the reception though so I got a Lily hair flower to put in.

My hair will be all down and curled with pins to hold in the veil. For the reception I’m taking the veil off and just having my hair down. 🙂 I think it will look great if you want to do that!

I like that idea! I might do it. But are you going to take your veil off for the reception? (I assume so if it will be cathedral length.) So that means your hair will just have sparkly bobby pins? I think that would look nice and elegant.

I am planning on taking my veil off for the reception. I’m currently looking for either a simple hair comb or some rhinestone pins. I found some cute pins but I will have to talk to my uncle (who is a hairdresser) about how my hair will be done then.

I wore my hair up, but with just a veil. I changed into a hair flower during the reception though.

I will do exactly the same as you’re planning for. Hair down, loose curls and ‘just’ a veil.
I really liked it that way, and I’m sure you will be stunning!
