You should move this to the “waiting” board.

I think a lot of us (that aren’t engaged yet) feel exactly this same way. It’s upsetting! Just say that you’ll let them know when he proposes!

You’re lucky that so many people are excited for you to get engaged!

I remember feeling the same way. I had friends who were openly disappointed when my now-husband didn’t propose on my birthday. I knew the proposal was coming, and didn’t want it to happen on my birthday (any holidays/birthdays were too cliche for me), but felt like nobody actually believed me when I said that. I started to feel external pressure, and I took it out on him sometimes, and felt bad about it after the fact. I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to let it get to you. Your guy just wants to surprise you. And, as annoying as it may be, I’m sure your coworkers have the best intentions and are just excited for you.
