I already covertly mentioned it to FH and he thinks it is a fun idea so I don’t need to worry about it backfiring (phfew!)
I’m nervous but also totally excited. They are doing my hair and makeup so that’s a huge weight off my shoulders.
What has everyone’s experience been? Anyone willing to share some of their photos? Inspiration? Words of encouragement? Advice?
It’s on July 12. Ahh!

I used a mix of what I like to wear for lingerie and what Fiance likes. My Fiance loves football so I used his fb and wore a GB Packer tee for one set of photos, in another I channeled my inner ’20s silent movie starlette and wore a black and cream number and we photographed those in black white. I had about 4-5 outfits and brought even more as back-up. My photographer made the experience extremely laid-back and encouraged me to bring my laptop for music. I am a plus size girl so photographing in next to nothing was a huge deal to me, but afterwards I felt amazing and found it to be one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! My advice is to find a hobby that your Darling Husband loves or that you both enjoy and do at least one set based off that, another idea is to puruse the Victoria’s Secret site and look at how the models are posed and then go practice those poses in the mirror, it sounds crazy but it helped a lot when the photographer was asking for poses you might have not thought of before the shoot. My last bit of advice is to enjoy yourself, you might be going into this for your hubby but it’s just as much for you!

@SOONTOBEMRS_Z: I sooo appreciate the thorough post! I am very excited at this point – most nerves are gone. As if I needed an excuse to go shopping, haha. I hope it’s as empowering as it seems like your session was. 🙂
