@KatieBklyn:  Darling Husband and I went to Couples San Souci for our Honeymoon, but CSA was our 2nd choice. I really think you’ll love the employees, they are so nice!

Check out the Couple’s message board on their site – you’ll get lots of great tips there and see just how many people are repeat visitors.

Been researching honeymoons and have heard lots of good things about this resort! One question – what kind of room did u book and how much did it come out to?

Thanks!!

@KatieBklyn:  I have never been to Couples Swept Away but I have been to Couples Negril. Couples Negril was amazing and I have ONLY heard amazing things about Swept Away. I am friends with a couple who kept going back for 7 years in a row. There is Ricks Cafe in Negril where you can cliff dive or watch the entertainers cliff dive. I heard that they just opened a Dolphin’s Cove in Negril. I swam with the Dolphins in Mexico and if you get a opportunity to do it in Negril… do it!!! It was amazing! I parisalled in Negril… the view was beautiful. One thing that I can tell you is the food and drinks are amazing at the Couples Resorts in Negril. My fiance and I are doing 8 days in Disney & 8 days in Aruba, but I definatly want to make my way back to Negril in the next few years. I went to Negril and loved it so much that I went back the next year with a friend. ENJOY!!!

I got back from CSA last Thursday…it was sooo gorgeous! The hurricane Isaac did not even impact the weather at all. I thought it was going to be constantly raining because of all the weather reports, but it only rained for a few hours on 1 day of the entire time that we were there, and the rest of the days were sunny and not even that hot. I swear it is way hotter and muggy in Los Angeles than it was in Jamaica! THe water is so clear u can see your feet. You can walk out really far into the ocean and the water will still not be that deep, and the sand is super white and soft…everyone was nice..we ate tons of food and alcohol…i swear my hubby and I each gained 5 pounds or so…

I would highly recommend CSA!!!

@KatieBklyn:  No we didn’t eat anywhere outside of the resort..with 7 restaurants and 3 bars…we enjoyed eating at each restaurant multiple times to try everything we paid for …LOL…when you try to walk along the beach passed the borderline of CSA, you will be hounded by locals trying to sell you everything. It becomes more convenient to stay on the resort. However, CSA does offer a few free excursions where you can sign up to go to Margaritaville, or to the downtown flea market etc, and i think you can take a cab to Ricks Cafe if you want. But i didnt want to do those things as you have to pay to drink when u get free unlimited alcohol on the resort and dont have to worry about bringing cash. If i were to go outside of the resort, we would have gone to see maybe one of the waterfalls etc. We did go on the Catamaran cruise excursioun which was fun and they take you out further away and let you swim through a cave…it was raining when we went but we swam in the rain and it was romantic. They have a schedule of actiivties on their website and you can make appts for everthing you want to participate in…we didnt have much time for that! just make sure you make reservations the day you arrive for the 2 restaurants that require reservations: Feathers and Lemongrass. We liked all the restaurants except for Lemongrass. They get booked up pretty fast as everyone is trying to make rservations ..especially for you since you are going on a more busy time i think. Sometimes the time we wanted was already taken. Also wake up early if you want to reserve a spot under a hut to lounge on the beach. Anyways let me know if you have any other questions! Tongue Out
