I’ll be going to that same resort in June! It looks like it will be very relaxing and beautiful. We are splitting our vacation between La Toc and another resort called Ladera.

Can’t wait to hear all about it! We kinda went overboard, we booked the sunset bluff ocean viwe villa with the private plunge pool. Normally we never would have done this but right after we get back we are hoping to put an addition on our home and then start our family so we probably won’t be going on any vacations for a LONG time!

I did La Toc for my honeymoon in October. We loved it!

Plan to spend 1 full day at each of the other resorts the Grande and the Halcyon. The grande was a little more party oriented and the halcyon was sooooo laid back. It was for a change of scenery.

The other days we did some off site tours. We did Zip lining which was AMAZING! And we did the Land and Sea tour which takes you to the volcano and mud baths and on a fun catamaran ride back with a snorkel stop.

Snorkeling is free to many places through the resort but we paid about $25 each to go to a marine reserve for a special snorkel trip. We’re both marine biologist so it was a nice afternoon for us.

We did a free kayak trip and had a really good time too!

Go to dinner at the La Toc. Make sure to go to the reservation desk right at 8am on your first day and you’ll have no issues with getting reservations if you don’t have higher level services. We booked a reservation at all the restaurants that require it at the La Toc and the other resorts and planned our trip to the Grande around our reservation. You can bring a change of clothes and leave your bag at the front desk. Before dinner you can get a complimentary room to go change and freshen up!

Also, go to the Piton restaurant at the La Toc. Its smallish and doesn’t take reservations so either go right when they open or be ok with a late dinner. We really enjoyed that meal and the atmosphere is delightful.

Have a wonderful trip… oh, and order a Dirty Banana as soon as you get there. Its an amazing blended drink… you will LOVE IT!

Soooooo jealous!
