I just finished booking the flights and the hotels for the honeymoon.

Three nights here:

Wengen, Bern, Switzerland

 

Three nights here:

Montreux, Vaud, Switzerland

 

Seven nights here:

Engelberg, Obwalden, Switzerland

 

Yay! I’m so excited!

@Lemma: Switzerland is FH’s fave spot in Europe, I’ve yet to go though 🙁  Looks gorgeous!

We opted for a relaxing all-inclusive resort in St. Lucia.

Wow that looks so amazing and gorgeous!! Switzerland has never been super high on my list of places to visit but it is now!!

We are going to have a mini moon right after the wedding since we will both be in school and Fiance just started his new job so he wont have a ton of time to take off.  We are doing a mini moon cruise to the bahamas and then our real honeymoon will be in the summer! We want to go to Ireland for about 2 weeks!

@natbug21: If you ever decide to go to Switzerland, PM me and I’ll give you tips. I used to live there and my Fiance and I visit it as often as possible, so I might be able to give you some inside info. Your minimoon sounds great and so does Ireland!

He also did repelling off some cliffs with his friends, which he always talks about!

@Stammie16: Yes, I’ve been to Interlaken many times! The only way to get to our first destination (Wengen) is to go through Interlaken since it is at the foot of the mountains. It’s a beautiful town with the lakes on either side (hence the name) and the mountains all around. 

I’ve definitely heard of Balmers. When I was living in Switzerland, it was THE place to go to party! Many of my friends had some wild times there!

Last time my Fiance and I were in Interlaken, we went canyoning. It was definitely an experience, but it made me realize that I’ve turned into a coward in my old age. Fiance really liked it though! May you and your FH could try it if you ever go back there with him.

Our honeymoon will be 7 nights on a cruise ship out of Baltimore to the Bahamas.
