Someone said to take the number of guests and divide it by the cost for your wedding. I did that in my head and vowed to never do it again. There is no logical reasoning when it comes to wedding pricing (ESPECIALLY food and venue!)

@billyjoelfan: I coupon, thrift and haven’t paid more than $30 on a haircut in years. I admit it ladies, too cheap to even have it blow dried for the extra $15. Because I am having a small wedding at a set price venue, and vendors are the same price for 20 people or 200, we are spending about $350 per person. I disgust myself! haha!

And my wedding is going to cost more than my car… Just don’t think about it, you’ll end up depressed, heh.

This made me crack up! When I think of it, we buy groceries for two people for the week for about the price we paid for one person. Wow! I’m glad I didn’t think of that before the wedding!!

I agree… you just can’t think of it. Somehow, it works out in the end.

I only paid $13 per person for my guests’ food. Semi-open bar (free wine & beer, if they wanted hard liquor they had to pay for it themselves), it was another $7 a person.
