We’re having cocktails and canapes at a trendy night spot then going out dancing- this is the dress that I bought! I purchased it in white (not black as pictured) because it’s not a typical hen’s night, I wanted to wear something that made me stand out as the bride!
I’m curious to see what everyone else wore to their hen’s/bachelorette party! Care to share?

How is it not a typical hen’s party? Also–I’m assuming that hen’s parties and bachelorettes are mostly the same, right?
Love the dress!

Wow! I love your dress – where’s it from?

No fair posting a pic of the dress then not saying where you found it!

I’m hoping to wear this in a couple of months time

@MissHoneyBun: We call it a hen’s night in Aus, but I think it’s referred to as a bachelorette party in the US?
All of the hen’s parties that I’ve been to have had sashes, veils, costumes, games etc. but my bridesmaids have organised a girl’s night out for me (which is what I wanted) not too different from our normal nights out- as far as I know anyway! Could be in for a shock!!
@julies1949: I bought it from ASOS.com, it’s on sale at the moment 🙂
@CatyLady: Love that dress! I’m really into the one shoulder thing at the moment!! The colour is gorgeous too!

@aprilsixteenth: Thanks, I thought it would be ideal for May. I saw a pink one shoulder dress last year and have fancied one ever since, plus I’m a sucker for ruching 😉

I wasn’t allowed to choose my clothes for my bachelorette; I was instructed to wear jeans and bring yoga pants, and they added on from there! (“BRIDE” t-shirt, sash, penis shotglass, tiara, mardi gras beads…lol…)
We took a pole dancing class, so a cocktail dress, while fabulous, probably wouldn’t have been the most practical choice 🙂

awesome dress! absolutely love it.
I’m also wearing a one shoulder cocktail dress for one of the nights of my bachelorette, (sorry can’t find pics anywhere on line). Still on the search for a dress fro the second night.
