I just bought my wedding ring, I’m so excited! It’s not what I thought I’d get, but I fell in love. It’s a .65 carat, european cut 5 stone platinum ring. I thought I wanted an eternity band, but I have very small fingers (size 4, and that’s actually pretty loose), so a 5 stone will still cover the whole finger nicely 🙂 Now a question: this is an estate piece and is a few sizes too big-how much does re-sizing typically cost?
While you think about it: RING PORN!

Also, please ignore the creepy mannequin hand

Are you wearing it with your engagment ring, it looks nice on its own too!

Ohhh I love it!!!! (nice hand btw hehehe) and I have no clue how much sizing cost.

@happyface: The plan is to wear it with my engagement ring (which is a round solitaire), but I’ll have to see how it looks…I bought it online, so I’ll have to see when it gets here 🙂

I had my e-ring resized, and I think it cost me about 20 euros (~$30 US). It only had to go down about half a size, though, and I don’t know how much altering the size by more will affect the cost.

Lovely ring! When I had my e-ring resized (it was my FI’s grandma’s) and cleaned up it cost about $120. I think the resizing was about $80.

Its gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! Sizing can run from 30-100 dollars from what I have researched. My area I was quoted 40 dollars I do believe.

So pretty! I love 5 stone rings 🙂

It’s beautiful! What makes it “European cut?” I just wanted my engagement ring polished for the wedding (it’s platinum), and he mentioned that usually they only polish when they resize, and that costs $30. Hopefully just the polish will be less, haha.

@Keltaena: Apparently (and I just learned this because of this ring) European cut is basically the grandfather of round brilliant cut…and they don’t really do it anymore.
