As some may remember I have not had the best luck with my venues. From the ceremony site going into liquidation, to a bushfire nearly burning down the reception venue to surprise contract changes that increased costs by a whopping $16 per person, this whole process has caused me an insane amount of stress and sleepless nights. I thought family was meant to be stressful! They have been a dream compared to my venues!
So on the weekend Fiance and I made the 3 hour trip to Margaret River to look at a new location… we loved it! After planning a wedding for almost a year now, I am finally feeling really excited about it! The wedding I have always imagined looks like it might actually become a reality. Woot woot!
Cancellation emails were sent this morning. According to the T&C’s we get our deposits back so fingers crossed they honour the contracts!

Oh I am glad it all worked out for you…I recognised your name in the list as we are date and state twins (I promise I am not a weird stalker I just remember you from an older post hehe)
I’ll keep fingers crossed but as long as it saysfull refund in your contract I am sure you’ll have no issues 🙂

Just an update: we got full refunds from everyone. Yay! New location is booked and I can breathe a sigh of relief! It’s a bit more expensive ($2000) but both of us agree that cheaper is not always the best option. We are happy to pay the extra for people who know what they are doing!
