Very pretty!

With my RHR my SO gave me for Christmas (granted, it isn’t gold/platinum/diamonds/gemstones etc but it still means a lot to me!), I just use hot water and a toothbrush to clean it. Sometimes soap as well if it is super dirty for whatever reason

Pretty!  I just cleaned mine this morning too.  I originally had no clue what to use and about 2 months after we got engaged I asked my Fiance if the jeweler had any tips.  He said “oh yeah, they gave me a free tub of ring cleaner when I bought the ring but I forgot to give it to you”.  D’oh.

I don’t remember what the brand of cleaner is, but it came in a red jar.  It works pretty well, but I haven’t tried any other methods of cleaning my ring yet.

@Princesslaylaxo:  oh is it connoisseurs?  my mom uses that. it works awesomely, but it clouded her diamond after 30 years though (or so she claims) i have some cleaner from my jeweler, and i also use clear dish detergent!

I love cleaning mine!!

My jeweler uses Mr. Clean diluted in hot water! So that’s what I use.

I looove cleaning mine! I just use water, dish soap, and a soft bristle tooth brush for mine. I may try some glass cleaner sometime!

I use blue dawn and windex in hot water – soak it for a few minutes then use a soft baby toothbrush.  I think it works way better then the jewelery cleaners.  Everytime I go in to the jeweler to get my ring cleaned they comment about how nice it already looks lol

If you happen to own a cappachino maker, you can get a jewelry shop sparkle by using the steam from the frother. I know that sounds bizarre,  but I kid you not it is awesome. I hold my ring in a pair of tweezers and let the steam Hit the ring. Dry with a soft cloth. That’s how they clean all jewelry in a store.

@Mammy:  um THIS. i did the coffee pot method i saw in a thread this past weekend. the steam REALLY works. i went back and dumped in all my other jewelery, ha! just put your ring in the filter instead of coffee grinds, run water through as normal, remove and pat dry. VOILA πŸ™‚
