We had about 150 guests at a black-tie optional wedding and received a little over $1,600 in cash and checks. The rest of our gifts were goods from our registries (china, flatware, glassware, linens, etc.) or gift cards.

300 guests…we received roughly $70K.
Though in both mine and my DH’s cultures, it’s customary to give monetary gifts..

We had 80 guests and received about $2000. Most cards were small gifts, we got a few large checks from close family members that brought up the total. It was enough for us to enjoy our honeymoon.

We had a registry and got a good amount of gifts. Invited around 115 people, and got probably close to $2k. My work gave me $500!

We invited 117 and 65 attended. We had a very small registry. We recieved probably around $8K. But my grandparents were incredibly generous and the majority of that came from them.

My wedding to my ex-husband was held on Long Island and we received about $30,000 from 125 guests. I am not a New Yorker so I was shocked but I think it’s a regional thing.

It’s actually normal in my circle to not give monetary gifts. We got maybe 1000 dollars.

16 guests, no registry, no gifts, no money

We had 189 guests and I think we made about $18,000. After paying the remainder of our bills we have $10,000 in savings for a house
